I mistakenly booked IELTS (On-paper) test rather than the computer one. I called the test centre and Edith helped me with the whole process of fund transfer quickly and efficiently. Awesome customer service.
I have to give my exam again. My ielts score was poor than i gave academic. General was supposed to to be better but if you book at this location. They will loot you. You gonna get toughest question than you get in academic. You have to pay again to redo exam. Stay away from this place. I would rather travel far away to get good score rather than give exam at this location and get lowest band score.
I was scheduled for an IELTS Speaking test at 3:15 p.m. and instructed to arrive 40 minutes earlier, which I did at 2:35. Despite following the instructions carefully, I was left waiting until after 3:15, only to be told the assessors were on break. I fully support staff taking well-deserved breaks, but it makes no sense to book candidates at 3:15 and require such an early arrival if breaks are not coordinated with the schedule. By 3:45, I was told to wait another 15 minutes — meaning my test was delayed until 4:00. That’s a 45-minute delay, on top of the 40 minutes I had already spent waiting, leaving me sitting in the centre for nearly an hour and a half before the speaking test. This shows poor coordination. I even had to cancel a dentist appointment at personal cost because of the unexpected delay. More importantly, IELTS is a high-stakes exam. Candidates are already anxious, and long, unexplained delays only add unnecessary stress. Please coordinate staff breaks with test schedules so candidates aren’t left waiting excessively. People have other commitments, and punctuality is essential for a professional testing experience.
Rescheduled speaking testing less than 24 h advance to over 3 hours later, no offer changing the whole exam to another day. They simply “politely” ask for my understanding. Sometimes being more honest on how unfair they are would make things more straightforward. The best part is that they refer to an abusive and broad terms and conditions that allows them to do whatever they want on the schedule. They think test takers can to adapt entirely their lives, but they can’t.
The test center was quite small and crowded, with many people packed into a single room. It started to feel uncomfortably warm inside. During the CELPIP speaking test, I was interrupted with a board asking me to lower my volume. I understand the need for quiet, but it’s a speaking test—it's hard to express yourself clearly and confidently while trying to whisper. I felt it affected my performance. The environment wasn’t ideal for such an important exam.
Amazing customer service. They really pay attention if you have any problems. One of their customer services staff Edith she helped me a lot. She was so nice and thoughtful. Thank you!
Thanks To British council and Jonas, who supported me throughout the time. I had to transfer my IELTS test date due to my illness. Whenever I emailed I got the timely response from them. And with the help of Jonas I successfully been able to transfer my test date. Thanks BC and Jonas. Thanks again Durba
