I’m really disappointed with my experience at this salon. After getting my hair done, everything looked fine at first, but when I took out the style, I realized my entire edges had been cut and damaged. The stylist clearly applied too much tension, and my hairline has suffered badly because of it. I take good care of my hair, so this was really upsetting and completely avoidable. Please be more careful with clients’ hair, especially around the edges that area is very delicate.

The shelves are stocked with all the goodies that remind you of home—or introduce you to something new. The staff were moderately friendly, and while the prices aren't bargain-basement cheap, they're fair for the quality and variety offered. I’ll definitely be back for another taste of Africa!
They had mostly African soup ingredients, foodstuffs, spices and seasoning. Right next to them is a salon with weaves, attachments etc. service was welcoming at Ticana and prices are considerably affordable.

If you are looking for your go to African grocery store this is it!! The store sells Attieke, Matoke, Palm oil, various meats , Akabanga hot sauce and many other amazing items from home. They also provide that unique and unrivaled store experience that only Africans have mastered. The store is occasionally closed at odd hours and the sales clerk has a laissez faire attitude that is fascinating yet consistent with all African stores (It is as if there is a reverse hospitality course needed to open an African store) And that is how you know the products are good! The confidence in the relaxed attitude is built over time, knowing they bring great quality and unique products to the neighborhood. I will definitely be coming back often
Mother Theresa is the best !. She has been doing my hair for 5 years and I will never trade her for anyone else. The have a African store that sell anything u can thing of in terms of African food.
