The second time ordering from this place The Okra is a disaster in waiting just water snd so much pepper But the efo riro is a 10/10 i must admit i loved every bit of the efo I will order egusi next to see if that orn os better and next the rice meals But for now I will suggest the efo for anyone thinking about the store That person making the Okra needs to be coached on pepper limit and water limit
I have been to the place 4 times, their food is parked in bulky with high prices, delays, the customer Care is lacking, guess the sane person in the kitchen is the same person welcoming customers. The Dining part is never prepared, you would think you are in the wrong place..
My friends and I ordered the Turkey with plantain and jollof. The delivery wait was long but it was worth it. The good was very very good. Everyone loved it. Also the meat is halal! We will definitely be ordering here again.
Absolutely horrible meal. I’ve never tasted okra soup this watery and flavorless in my life. I had just landed from Nigeria to Toronto, starving after a long flight, and ordered through Uber Eats hoping for something satisfying. Instead, I got a bowl of water with a few bits of okra floating around. No goat meat was inside the soup I ordered. When I contacted the seller, she admitted it wasn’t right and promised to make another batch — yet never delivered, even after I sent my hotel address. The lack of accountability made it worse. Attached are photos of the soup and her messages. I wish I could post the video too so everyone could see the mess I received.
First time customer here and I’m already hooked! I’m literally sitting in front of an empty plate waiting on more soup ??. Had to call in just to get more and ofc commend the amazing team behind this amazing dish. If you know Toronto a lot of Afro restaurants can’t eat the food they sell.. Princess kitchen cares. Hands down the best naija restaurant downtown! ???
The food itself is good. Their gbegiri and Efo are delicious. The sauce with the Ewa was so tiny, I could only eat a few spoons of the beans so the remaining beans were wasted with no sauce for them. I don't know why anyone would serve that. My other (and very serious) issue is the way the food is packaged for delivery. If you're going to use staples, make sure they are done correctly. There should be no exposed pointy ends! This is basic stapling 101! Maybe change your stapler or get someone who knows what they're doing. You need to press hard enough so the staples are SEALED and no pointy parts are exposed! This is the FOURTH time I have received a delivery order and been INJURED by the staples which are not fully closed and poking out of the bag. And there are many staples all over the paper bag so it's like handling a cactus and you get pricked. The last prick left a deep wound and my finger is in a lot of pain days later!! Please, do better. I will gladly update my rating if you make these safety changes. I do support your business but I cannot keep getting injured in the process. Thank you.
I have to give 10s where it is due. I impulsively ordered Poundo and Egusi at around 11pm. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, it’s so delicious, I was thinking about it all day. They were not stingy with the portions and I have enough to eat like 3 times. My friend recommended this place, and I’m very grateful.
