Have gone here several times for the sushi and sashimi sets. First few times, the rice was very hard and gummy, thought it was just because we brought it at the end of the day so also tried in middle of day and the rice is still a bit gummy. The location is really convenient, however, rice being so gummy is a no go for Asians used to edible rice. They sell other meal sets which do not contain rice which we also tried, however, we found those meal sets too oily/salty for our tastes.
Such a cute place! Gives a bento box convenience store vibe and I love it. So many good options here, and the gyoza was really good! I saw people post sushi, but I think it was sold out when I went. Looked really good though, and I look forward to my next trip to union station to try more things from here The snacks looked really good too.
Used to come here for their assortment of foods but their quality has deteriorated. I came here during their end of day sale and picked up some sushi. The roll tasted fine but one of the pieces of sashimi tasted so foul and rotten that I immediately spat it out. I never had sushi that tasted anything close to this rotten. I ended up throwing up sick after eating here. Judging by some other recent reviews, I’m not the only one who has experienced this. I really hope to see improvements in the food quality here as this sushi was definitely rotten and not fresh.
SO good! i can always rely on kibo when i’m in a rush. selection is great. my personal favs are the cucumber kimchi, the hand rolls and onigiri, and the spicy miso soup!
For a grab-and-go sushi place (located at the food court), this is absolutely bomb! They have a lot of different options, from rolls to poke bowls to kimchi wraps to onigiri. There are also Korean snacks and kimchi! The spicy salmon I got was delicious. The rice is flavoured well, the fish is not too sparse, and the best part is its convenience. I would come here again if I am back at Union Station.
As a vegeterian, this is the only place I love to try japanese food at, everything tastes amazing, super authentic. The food is always fresh and tons of oprions for any dietary restrictions.
This is the first time I am feeling abysmally sick after eating sushi in my life. I ate the spicy dragon role from you right after the purchase standing near the store and right within 30 minutes of eating I started feeling uneasy . I don’t have the receipt however I have the transaction proof of the item purchase. I think I may to report this to the concerned authority so that others will not fall not sick.
