I recently visited the Timbuk2 store at Queen Street West with my partner and had an outstanding shopping experience. When we first came in to explore replacing a well-loved Tuck Pack, Michelle helped us with the available options. Although the newer version wasn’t quite the same material, she was kind and attentive, which made for a positive start to our visit. Ethan then guided us through other bag styles we were interested in. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming, and took the time to explain Timbuk2’s lifetime warranty - something we hadn’t known about before, which gave us full confidence in the brand. I’d highly recommend visiting this store to anyone in Toronto looking for both great products and truly exceptional service. The bag selection here is stylish, high-quality, and perfect for any occasion. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience a pleasure from start to finish.
I’m not sure about the bad review but everyone seems friendly and into bags. The prices are not super high and still affordable. Good deals, and trade-in program. My email responses were quick with Ethan and everyone doesn’t pressure you. Tries to understand your need. I’m on 2nd bag now.
I bought the Commute Messenger Bag 2.0 and it has a design flaw that the buckle loosens up throughout the day and with minimal effort. I went to the store to check if the issue was with my bag and had to deal with an extremely annoying and rude salesperson who got very defensive when I tried to explain the issue. He wouldn’t stop talking over me and over the other salesperson (who was nicer and more helpful). Management - train your employees better. This happened on 04/24 at 5:30pm. I checked online and this is a common issue and complaint with this bag so be aware. I wish I knew it sooner. Overall, I wouldn’t buy here again. If you are in market for a work bag, I’d suggest checking out Bellroy - they have great bags and it’s sold in stores nearby Timbuk2.
Bought my first ever Timbuk2 bag after checking them online and looking at online reviews. I got the Robin Commuter Pack in their new shade of green and it's just beautifully made. Although I do wish it hade more side accessible pockets, it still is pretty versatile. Shout out to Kevin who was super friendly and knowledgeable :))
This store has great backpacks and cross body bags that have intuitive technology in there products for an active sporty lifestyle. I highly recommend these bags for casual business people.
Sent them a message on Facebook to understand the difference between bags. Then I emailed the store directly about availability on a specific bag. Got a reply back quickly in both environments. Went down to the store to pick it up and was greeted and taken care of very quickly. Looking forward to using my new bag!
