I made a gift to my boyfriend so that he could get beard detailing services with a spa vibe. He was and I was very satisfied with the result. Service was nice. However I was not advised that water or tea would have to be paid on top of the initial bill. I would have appreciated a little more transparency in that regard. Usually this are complementary. (10$ for hot water feels exaggerated). Get your own water if you get there!
Good service active vibe shop. I enjoyed the cutting and facial but paid more than I expected at the end. Maybe I should have asked more clearly before the cutting.
For my anniversary, I got a shave, haircut and facial. When I got home, my wife said I looked so good, she would marry me all over again. Thanks Blade & Razor.
My appointment was for a touch-up. Just to clean up what hair had grown out since my last cut. This was for grad so I didn't want anything major for the soul purpose of the barber screwing me over. My instructions were to make the back of my hair a straighter line than the rat-tail growing out there. Raj, my barber, did some kind of curved line thingamabob and accidentally cut a spot out of line with the razor therefore making it uneven. When I came into the shop I was offered a drink which surprised me a little however these accommodations would be nice I suppose, maybe not for me though. I feel as though this place is better for relaxation and massages inspite of my appointment for a quick touch up cut. One lady that runs the cash was very understanding and let me move my appointment up a little because I couldn't be there for when I said I would. Due to the bad impression Raj left on me concerning the back of my hair, I didn't leave any tip which brought my total to about $23.00 CAD. A little on the high side, however reasonable for a ten minute cut. With that, my experiences with other barbers has been better and I can recommend George's Barber Shop which did a better job on a touch up of sorts.
