I recently had a haircut with Victoria. It had been quite some time since my last haircut, so my hair was a mess. I asked Victoria for a suggestion on what I should do and she suggested and produced a haircut that worked well to my hairstyle (curly hair) and tendency to procrastinate booking a haircut. She was super cool and fun to talk to. She took her time and was meticulous. Highly recommend!
Very friendly and efficient service, the barbers there are conversational and open without making you feel uncomfortable. Very positive neighbourhood feel in a great location. One of the better haircut experiences I've had.
Good service, good haircut and the barbers having good knowledge about different types of styles, give tips how to style it, the environment is great and fun. Kinda like a small barber shop in New York at the corner, that's been there for decades, that's the vibes I got. Not just due to location, style, but the barbers. I had an apprentice barber, since I just needed a trim a bit from goriwing it out, so you can imagine going to the experienced ones, which I will! A bit expenses tho, just a bit comparing to others a bit farther away then walking distance. My 2 cents is that, I think a haircut shouldn't be a chore but something that's enjoyed and brightens your day like verything else in life, making the mundane, non-mundane and that can only be done from the energy, atmosphere and vibe created by the people that work there, so taking that in account i think it's worth giving it shot if your thinking about going here.
Unfriendly service, mediocre cut, high price. Don't expect any kind of greeting when you walk in. You won't get any. Absolutely zero customer service. If you want to chat about the best places to party, then the chit chat is there a bit but for anything else, non-existent. Definitely not cheap either, particularly when most cuts are 20 minutes max.
Great barbershop in the neighbourhood to have, good music good chats and an so happy with the cut from Victoria today. Marlo and the team have this place just perfect.
I booked a haircut here for the first time. Heard great reviews about the place. Followed up about having long hair and calling ahead which I was prompt to do and the receptionist was greatful of as many clients do not do this. Last Minute the barber I had request which was capable of cutting long hair (I was told many barbers do not do this here) could not I was asked to rebook. I guess it's mainly my mistake for moving the appointment to another barber the same day but the receptionist failed to let them know I had long hair. The barber I got did not really listen or understand what I was trying to say about my hair. When they suggested a hair style I should have just gotten up and left because it was not what I wanted and they didn't understand that I wanted something different. Not impressed overall by the lack of care that was taken with my hair and was looking to have something closer to my new home on the east end but again I'll just end up making the trip the west end for a better haircut. Overall should have been a lot better because the vibe is right and everything about the place is good just not if you have longhair
Experienced and friendly staff including apprentices. Easy to use online booking system. Convenient location. Fyi: Marlo is the barber I always book with.
