I was visiting Canada and I was in Yorkville area and I had a business meeting I decide to stop this place and get a fresh haircut but unfortunately, he messed up my hair. Screwed up completely. Last week I went to Miami fades for the first time and I was beyond satisfied. Ali gave me the best fade and beard lineup i ve had in Toronto thus far. Ali was super welcoming and friendly and treated me like a brother. He went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what i wanted did a great job adhering to safe hygiene practices which is key during this pandemic.
I came into this Academy not knowing anything about being a Barber in a professional setting, Dwight has given me the opportunity as a upcoming Barber to get a lot of experience in a positive,clean work environment. The program teaches you everything from customer service to the fundamentals of fading and anything in-between you need help with as a Barber. I’ve been with the Miami Fades Academy for close to 2 months and I can say I’ve had a great learning experience and its helping me grow as a Barber.
I went on a two day course at this academy and I definitely learned a lot. This academy not only focused on technique and the importance of proper tools but it also focused on professionalism. As a hairstylist I am a visual learner so not only did we have the opportunity to watch up close but it was also very hands on (the best way to learn!) . Big thanks to Dwight and everyone else at that academy.
This is the third time I've come to Hudson for a cut and a beard trim and I cannot say I am anything less than impressed. Hudson is not only a professional, his attitude is right, he's friendly and he's got all the skill to back it up. I have a very hard time trusting someone new to cut my hair but considering this is my third time coming to him in the past 8 weeks should be an indicator that I think Hudson is the guy to see. If you're looking for a clean fade, a dope beard trim, and just need to clean up your look before a big day, you gotta come see Hudson!
