Chico is hands down one of the best barbers in the city. The attention to detail is unreal, the fades are always clean, and he takes the time to make sure everything is perfect, and he genuinely cares about how you walk out of the shop. If you want a cut you can trust every single time, he’s your guy. Highly recommended.

I recently visited Parkdale Barbers and got my haircut from "Chiko, El Barber" — hands down one of the best barber experiences I’ve had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The shop was clean, well kept, and gave off a welcoming vibe. Chiko greeted me with a smile and a "HOLA AMIGO", He took the time to ask exactly what I wanted, and even made a few smart suggestions based on my hair type. When it was time for the cut, Chiko showed precision and real skill — the fade was sharp, the line-up crisp, and the overall look was exactly what I had in mind (if not better). He was careful, patient, and detail-oriented, making sure every edge was perfect before zeroing out. On top of the excellent haircut, the service was smooth. Chiko worked efficiently but didn’t rush. He made sure I was happy at every step. I also appreciated small touches like hot towels and beard clean-up — things that show a barber cares. I really enjoyed my haircut from Jon, he really took his time to understand the structure of my hair and ensured I liked the overall result. My girlfriend who usually hates my haircuts I get from other barbers complimented me for the first time ever. Will definitely be back here!
The place is really nice, clean, no-frills. Jon was super attentive and skilled. I had a bit of trouble explaining exactly what I wanted, but he was really patient and kept adjusting the cut based on my feedback. At the end, even after the haircut was technically done, I wanted a little more taken off, but he was out of time. The other barber, though, made sure to finish up and get it exactly how I wanted. I walked out 100% satisfied. Even though it’s not so close to my place, I’ll try to come back regularly. Edit: Tony is great.
I’ve been going to Jon B here since May and he’s always professional. I get a lot of compliments on all the cuts I’ve gotten from him. Always squeezes me in when he can.
I've had so much trouble finding a decent barber in Toronto until I came here. Previous barbers would still screw up my hair even with a picture, and I'm pretty easy going. Tony is the man! He would even clarify how I interpreted certain descriptions of the cut. If you're like me and in need of a barber you can trust, go see Tony.
