I got a haircut and beard trim done by Andrew, which was probably one of the best I've had done in a very long time. He took his time with grace, care, and a steady hand. Professional, quality experience.
You can tell right away that they’re true professionals by the way they cut hair! I’ve spent more money at other places only to end up with a bad haircut, but here I got a perfect one for less. They actually listen, give great recommendations, and still respect your choice. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot from now on.

Andrew always does a flawless haircut. He's very detail-orientated and never rushes. He takes extra care to ensure every angle of your haircut looks great and no hair/spot etc. is missed. He's very friendly and tidy as well. Well done as always, Andrew!
Viktor (one of the barbers) purposely shaved my hairline an entire inch back from where it naturally sits on my right temple. No professional barber would do this by accident and this was not a misunderstanding. He cut my hair literally 2 weeks prior and lined up my natural hairline properly, so he clearly knew better. Not only that, he seemed angry while cutting my hair, and didn't say a word after the cut, not even a goodbye. I never write reviews but this really annoyed me, especially since I was kind to him and asked him questions about his favorite teams in soccer. This wasn't the only red flag. The first time I visited Star Fade (the couple weeks prior) I was maybe 5 minutes late and was met with significant attitude from Andrew. He looked up at my hair and said "Since you're late, this barber will cut your hair instead". No conversation at all, just a cold statement. He then went on his phone for half an hour. The second time I visited (when Viktor messed up my hairline), I had to wait 20 minutes with no apology. I was respectful both times and was met with unusual behavior and disrespect. As I said, I never write reviews, but Viktor just decided to screw up my hairline thinking I wouldn't say anything. Well here I am. Never coming back. The other barbers seem nice. For instance, Tony offered me espresso which was a nice gesture. Cheers!
The customer experience at Star Fade is great. They are always friendly and quick to offer water and espresso when you arrive and the area is very clean and hygienic. Kaz does an excellent beard trim. I have been to him twice now since moving to Toronto and can't see myself going to another barber shop.
