Just got the Starks treatment from Fadi and it was probably the best haircut I’ve had. Staff are very friendly, vibe is calm, and Fadi was like some sort of hair scientist or something. He seemed very attentive to hair texture and the way things would fall. The result was really great. They offer a really cheap massage, moisturizer, and hot towel add-on that was so luxurious I practically feel guilty. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!!!
Starks barbershop is so great. You walk in and get treated so kindly by the receptionist, can get water or coffee. Then when you get a haircut they wash hair before as well. Fadi was my barber and did a spectacular job. He listened to the haircut I wanted and gave me advice on how I should style and get it trimmed so it best suited my hair and head shape. His fades were also amazing as always and it was all done pretty quickly.
After constantly being overcharged by salon after salon, not listened to as to what I wanted, & basically treated like cattle overall, I walked into Starks today to find an outstanding experience awaiting me. Not only did the Store Manager herself, Lucia, greet me professionally & friendly upon my arrival, she made me feel right at home while asking me what I wanted today (hair cut, shave/trim, styling, etc). After being offered a delicious coffee (which I gratefully accepted) & being shown their exclusive product line, I was seated in a very comfortable waiting area with great music & was told I'd be seen in about 20 minutes. I got a text shortly thereafter stating my appointment time, & instead of 20 minutes I was seen in 10. One Shampoo/rinse/scalp rub later, I was taken by my stylist for today, Natalie, a wonderful woman who listened to what I had in mind, offered her thoughts, & went straight to work. Not only did she achieve exactly what I wanted in record time, but was gentle (I hate it when stylists rush & end up pulling out hair), took her time, cut & styled my hair the way I asked, then draped a warm face towel over my head, scented with an incredibly relaxing eucalyptus oil. Just when I thought it was done, I received a nice shoulder massage (I did not expect that!) & all was done. As I thanked her and the staff profusely & went to pay, I was surprised when I was only not only charged about $50 LESS than what I've been paying at other salons in the area, but I received a discount because it was my first time there. Lucia & Natalie seemed genuinely happy when they saw the look of shock & joy on my face. I give this place 10/5 stars, & have found my hair place for the future. Thank you to the amazing staff, whose professionalism helped to created a relaxing & welcoming atmosphere that is so desperately needed in today's day & age. Cheers!!

Absolutely loved my experience at Starks! I have recently got interested in getting fades, but the problem I ran into was to keep correcting it and touch it up every couple of weeks. Starks has a good deal to get bi-weekly haircuts especially for people with specific haircut needs, it would be best. Alex is a wizard and gives good consultations on how you should shape your hair up. I felt really dapper once the haircut was done. The staff is also really helpful and friendly, especially Lucia, and they make the whole experience worthwhile.
My first time at Stark's, and it was a great experience! Tammy was friendly, and took the time to make sure that the haircut was just right. Fun atmosphere, making for a relaxing and enjoyable visit!
No doubt the best in the city! My father and brother refuse to go anywhere else. All around 10/10. Appointments are always on time, covid protocols are great, staff is beyond amazing, clean and tidy, good prices. #HairGods
