Based on a friend’s recommendation, I booked an appointment at HairBank for hair colour. Owner Jay did an excellent job and he was friendly and easy to communicate what I wanted. Scalp massage at shampoo/conditioning was relaxing. Colouring was even from root to tip, hair was soft with no chemical scent. Can’t go wrong with Korean hair colour. Shop is clean and comfortable. This will now be my go-to for hair colour.
I've been to several salons and did not have good experiences so a friend recommended that I go to Hair Bank and make an appointment with Jay. I hadn't had a haircut in 4 months but Jay was able to fix my undercut and give me tips on how to style my wavy/curly hair. Jay was attentive and patient, making sure that I had the right knowledge to take care of my hair and maintenance after the haircut. Will be going back!
Made a same day appointment and they did an amazing job. Jay was really meticulous and gave me some great tips to style my hair at home. Definitely recommend for mens haircuts.
I really did not want to leave a bad review because I know there are only a few people working at Hair Bank. But I have been stressed out and high emotions because my haircut was nothing like the picture I showed to Jay. It is much shorter than I wanted especially because I need length just in case I need to get another haircut to fix anything. But now it’s too short to fix. And my bangs are too thick, short and like a zigzag. I wanted see through bangs like in my reference picture but they are nothing like it. I need to wait 5 months for my hair to grow out to the length I want. This is very upsetting for me. I can’t even tie my hair because it’s so short now. I don’t know what to do to fix this and now I have to live with this haircut for half a year.
Clean, well lit environment. Been coming here for my last 4 haircuts as the experience is professional, consultation experience is good with barber Jay as haircuts turn out the way I like.
(Jun 2024) I went back for root touch ups, haircut & coloring that I needed to attend the wedding. I showed Jay what dress I would wear at the wedding, he gave me a couple of good tips for color choice of hair that would match with my dress & how to style my hair on the day of. The whole process took almost 4 hours and he explained every step so I didn’t need to wonder what was going on. I followed his advice & picked “too cute coral” for color, it turned out great. Unfortunately photo did not show the exact color but very happy with overrall service and felt I have the stylist that I could trust. (Jan 2024) My second time that I used Hairbank for makeover. I was connected with the stylist, Haily this time and she did such a fantastic job. She was skilled, patient and listened to my needs and made it happen. Highly recommend this place!
Workers were nice. Hair job was bad. Asked for simple highlights and ended up receiving a whole hair job that was unwanted. Made me pay an expensive price for something I didn’t ask for. Didn’t even do the job well. Now every time I shower my hair get lighter and turns into a color that I don’t want. Came in with brown/blonde hair, and left with green hair.
