I had my hair colored by Lucy (Ludabello). I previously had a good experience with her, which is why I returned. However, after this recent appointment, my hair became noticeably overprocessed: dryness, breakage and rough texture appeared progressively after the in-salon treatment wore off. I reached out to her to discuss the issue and find a solution. Unfortunately, I was not offered an in-person assessment or any corrective plan. The communication shifted into denial rather than support, which left me without any guidance on how to fix the condition of my hair. Edited after salon reply: I want to clarify one point regarding the service arrangement. I fully understand that stylists may work as independent contractors. However, the coloring service was booked, performed, and paid for inside Lift Salon, under Lift Salon’s business licence. In Ontario, if a stylist does not hold their own Personal Services / Hairstyling business licence and separate liability insurance, they are considered to be operating under the salon’s licence while providing services on the premises. In that case, the salon becomes the responsible licence holder for the work performed. Lastly, I received a phone call from Jim, the salon manager, who accused me of spreading false information and stated that he would involve his lawyers. I found this call intimidating and unprofessional.
Got my haircut here and absolutely love it! ??♀️ Went from long to short, and it turned out even better than I imagined. Laurence really listened, and the whole experience was so pleasant. Highly recommend!

The color looks so natural and flattering, exactly what I had been hoping for. She really took the time to understand what I wanted and made sure everything turned out perfect. Shizu gave me an amazing haircut and I am obsessed!! She is extremely warm, took her time to explain to me which cut would be better for me and did a fantastic job. The place has a great vibe. 10/10 would visit again

If you're after an "expensive blonde", Lift salon is the place (and I've tried a few!). The atmosphere is really welcoming and all the staff are friendly and warm. The customer service is exceptional and you really feel listened to when it comes to colour and styling. I'll definitely be back!
