I have never had an appt here. That is because it took over 2 months of going back and forth with an admin person just *trying to make an appt.* I was referred "Connie" because my friend said it was worth having Connie do my lips. That may be. What is not worth it is spending 2 months with some admin person *by text only* (because they prefer that to phone). Actually, I initially tried to book online. As soon as I chose a 2 PM appt with Connie, that was it ...from then on, no more online booking - text only, back and forth, now dozens of times having their management and sched rules explained to me over and over (e.g., if you want Connie you pay $150 more for appts after 2 PM because that is when she picks up her kids). Since cost was not an issue for me, I accepted this early on. Yet, Connie just now, had to explain that all over again to me (!). These people do not have the first inkling of how to deal with clients. Yes, they will no doubt write a reply "Oh, we have rules about charging more for appts after a certain time of day ... blah blah." If they try to make this about cost, ask yourself: **why would I tell them to "keep the deposit $" if this was about cost for me?** It has never been about cost for me. All I wanted was a simple weekday appt at 2 PM - with Connie, to whom my friend referred me. That's it. Simple, right? Not for them - even when you tell them the cost is fine and doesn't enter into it. (!) Nothing is worth dealing with these people. That they are highly disorganized and unprofessional goes without saying. They are moving to a new location in midtown. Sadly, it will be a new location - with the name incompetent, inefficient staff. There are now literally thousands of these micropigment salons all over the city. You have many to choose from esp in the midtown area. Please look elsewhere.
I got my Ombré Powder brows done with Vivian recently and I absolutely loveee them! I specifically chose her as my artist because of her precision and technique (I'm very picky and not many artists can replicate her style), and not to mention that she's such a sweetheart. She took her time to map out of my brows exactly how I wanted them. In addition to that, she's very light handed I felt 0 pain during the appointment even without numbing. I've gotten numerous compliments since getting them done thank you for saving me so much time in the mornings!
Erica is absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She always makes me feel completely comfortable, and her attention to detail is unmatched. I’ve been going to her for three years now, and she never disappoints. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch service!
Wow I’m in love with my lips months later. The colour still looks peachy pink and I still don’t need to use lipstick. Connie has such an amazing personality and so easy to be around. Booking was so easy quick. She ensures you are comfortable the entire session, checks up on you afterwards, and properly explains the after care instructions. I will recommend anybody to go to her she’s 10/10
My eyebrows are perfect and improved my face a lot! Erica is so good w dealing w naturally hairy but unsymmetrical brows. Her colour recommendation was exactly what I was looking for also I have extremely sensitive skin and none of her products gave me bad reaction. I have 0 pain tolerance in my face and most numbing creams don’t work well but the one she uses work great !! I HIGHLY recommend the brow tools sold here they are soo goooooodd best I’ve tried in Canada, so sharp and well built that your brow hairs don’t have to grow that much to catch them so you won’t look a mess . Thanks again I love my face so much more !!!!!!!!
Horrible place.. They do not prioritize the happiness of clients as a business should. If you have an issue following your service, they will ignore you and tell you that they "do not feel comfortable having you as a client", as they told me. Save your money.
I went to Erica for the first time about 3-4 years ago when she started off in a tiny room in the back of a hair salon. Even then, her business was always clean and professional. I fell in love with the way Erica did my brows – it was a huge confidence boost. Erica is also extremely friendly, kind and professional. It was never awkward and conversations always flowed, which I find is important when you’re getting a service done for 2-3 hours. I’ve been going to her since. She’s now located in a gorgeous studio in Yorkville. I will continue to go to Lovelle for as long as she continues to do brows! 1000% recommend!
