Soo is an incredible hair stylist. My 2 boys were getting some dramatic hair transformations from long to short hair and she gave them great advice and explained what would work best for their hair types, was so kind to the boys, and the hair cuts are so cool. If my current hair stylist ever leaves, I would go to Soo in a heartbeat. I fully trust her, she's incredible!
If I could give more stars, I would. I have been going to Mike for around 20 years. First in Mississauga where his journey began, and now on Roncy! Mike’s cuts and colour are always on point! He’s maintained my long thick hair with the perfect layers for years, to chopping it off completely to a short bob this past summer - which is growing out super cute. His blowouts are awesome, as are his curling iron techniques. I always feel leaving beautiful and ready to go out on a date with my hubby! … Mike is super friendly and can hold down a conversation about pretty much anything, so you won’t be bored hehe…if you ask a question about your hair expect a text book response…. lastly, Mike has kept his prices very affordable compared to other salons. Thanks Mike!!!
I shopped on line to buy some Acca Kappa hair brushes. Mike was amazing to deal with and even helped me correct my order from a brush I ordered to one that is more appropriate for the length of my hair. Wonderful folks to deal with!!
I have just left the salon earlier today for a hair colour and blow out (demi colour.) And unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Firstly, I didn't realise that I would be leaving the salon with dye marks clearly visible around my scalp and at one point, my cheek. I actually had to point out to the stylist about the dye marks. You always want to look good after leaving a salon. I did not feel good. Secondly, I would like more care during my appointment. I got water on my face while my hair was washed (I understand this can happen but it's not enjoyable), got my earring tugged painfully right after I warned them that I have a piercing (it's an old one but I still give stylists a head's up), and then.. the dye marks.. Yes, not a good experience. Would not recommend.
$101 : wash and fade for very short hair. I wanted to try the salon experience cause I’d been going to barbers for a while. I will continue going to barbers, they do the same short style faster, cheaper, and better. Barbers also have the tape around your neck so hair doesn’t get under your shirt Lovely place, lovely stylist, easy to get to, great service, great vibe, but not for me.
I had such a bad experience here I didn’t go back to a hair dresser for 2 1/2 years. The women cutting my hair complained about her son the entire time, didn’t cut my hair at all to what I wanted and proceeded to tell me that they don’t suggest products at their store for hair care. Please save the hundreds you spend on your hair to a place that cares about you and your hair care
Very unprofessional. I made an appointment and arranged a babysitter for my kid and they confirmed my appointment that day and then did not honour it. Then they tried to convince me to wait for at least a half hour and kept making excuses.
