Quick and easy access to a rental. Heads up - It may take up to 1 hour to check out one end of the island with a 4-Seater Quadricycle (if folks all don't cycle ??) Good experience overall.
Overall, the rental process was fine and we had no major problems riding the bike around the island. However, the bikes felt quite old, and the price was higher than other options. If you’re planning a full-day rental, I would suggest taking the ferry to Ward’s Island instead. The Island Outpost there has newer bikes, cheaper all-day rates, and you can also avoid the heavy crowds at Centre Island.
The perfect way to spend an afternoon on the Toronto Islands is to rent a bike, which makes getting around so easy! We were able to bike and see some great views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline. Paths also lead around the neighborhoods and small cafes to grab a bite. I really liked stopping at the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse. The cost per bike is only $10 CAD / hr, and though we were a few minutes late returning they did not charge us any extra.
It's not a satisfying trip to The Island without a bike rental from this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they make it easy to grab a bike and get going so you can enjoy as maximize your time. If you haven'r ever rented a bike to go around the island it's such a treat, check them out!
If you plan on visiting the Toronto Island, a bike rental is a must! The staff members were very kind and welcoming. Oury took the time to explain everything we should know before our ride, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We were two adults, a toddler and a baby and it’s very doable, we had no issues at all. Highly recommend ?
Had a lot of fun on a 4 seater bike car. Paths are safe and flat making cycling easy. It's a great way to get around the island. Reasonably priced and staff were very helpful, and did a good job managing queues. The bike was in good condition.
These quadricycles are so much fun. There was a bit of a wait so they let us go walk around for 15 mins and kept the quads aside for us for when we got back.
