Didn't know until I reached the place that canadian bowling is a thing. It is one novel experience you should try if you haven't tried. Its double the fun than normal bowling
I went here to celebrate my birthday with my friends. It was amazing! The staff were very nice and helpful. I struggled with making a reservation over the phone, but I was able to walk-in and make one with the owner who went above and beyond to accommodate me. It’s a hidden gem in Danforth, I wish I knew of this place earlier! Will definitely come here for more celebrations. They have a cash only bar and service, just an fyi!
DO NOT GO HERE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I waited 2 weeks, left 2 messages, called several times, and finally after all of that ... someone finally answered my call just to tell me that they can't accommodate. Meanwhile, another friend called and was able to book a lane ... they were not calling people back but if you were lucky enough to catch them, they booked you and tough luck for other people that called weeks in advance. Get an online system! It will help ... works for other places. DISAPPOINTED!
You don’t get places like this anymore - friendly, efficient, and an overall great atmosphere. They go above and beyond to provide a fun and traditional experience.
I recently attended a social event here for 12 people and we had a great time. Upon entering, you seem to step back in time, but it is clean, well maintained and completely charming. The staff is friendly and attentive. It was a great way to spend a few hours; chatting, friendly competition and a few drinks to go along with it. I highly recommend coming here with friends for some good-spirited fun.
We initially planned to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday at Danforth Bowl and were excited about the event. However, after adjusting our plans based on their availability, we were told to call the next day to confirm the reservation. It’s been two days, and I haven’t been able to reach them via phone or email. We had to reschedule the event and now we are left without any confirmation or communication. If they were unable to accommodate us, they could have said so upfront, and we could have booked somewhere else without changing our plans for a group of 14 people. This lack of communication is very frustrating and disappointing
I’ve been wanting to try this place out. However, for whatever reason, it’s always closed. I’d encourage them to update their business hours so it’s not misleading and maybe picking up the phone if requiring people to book access. If you’re choosing to go here, please make sure to call ahead of time so that you don’t waste your time.
