The Montreal Smoked meat made for a solid lunch sandwich, though it it’s definitely pricey at $21 after tax. The inclusion of both the side pickle and pickled slaw was a bit too much pickle even though I normally really pickles.
Service is normally top notch but I was there around 9:10am November 4th and I was told they are not ready to start serving. But they are not the only ones. Because the vendors are in a tourist area they take the business for granite. Opening time is usually 30min after posted time and going in 1 hour to closing many vendors have shut down.
We ordered the California spring salad which was one of the best salads that I’ve ever had. The pasta salad however was overcooked and mushy. We couldn’t even eat it. This is weird because we ordered it another time and the pasta was cooked just fine.
Talked to Tommy, amazing customer service and definitely passionate about his work.. Got the Cubano- simple, amazing, the meat was perfect and the bread ratio spot on! I don’t live down here but I’m coming back.
I was really disappointed with my experience here. Although the girl was nice, it was very hard to communicate with the cashier because she barely understood English and couldn’t clearly explain what they were selling. I tried to ask questions to understand my options, but the conversation went nowhere because of the language barrier. On top of that, the other staff member — a guy who seemed to be assisting customers — was downright rude in the way he spoke. Instead of being patient or helpful, he came across as dismissive, unprofessional, and arrogant, which made the whole situation even more frustrating. For a place that deals with customers all the time, I expected a much friendlier and more accommodating service. This experience left me feeling disappointed and reluctant to come back.
We tried Reuben and Montreal Smoked sandwich. So delicious and enough portion for one person. Each sandwich comes with one small cabbage salad. I give 1 star less because staff did not have cap or something to cover their hair and their mustache
Ordered a Montreal smopked meat sandwich advertised at $16.95, plus tax should be $19.15, but they asked for $20.95, and on top of it, they claimed a tip of 20%, These people are thieves.
