They are always closed and with mere 1-2 hrs of food distribution not sure if they are helping people like me. I went there 3 times and it was closed all 3 times.
I went there because I had no funds to buy food. They treated me with kindness and understanding, which seems to be lacking in some of society today.. I can still go back once more for the food bank. And they served a very nice healthy lunch. All i can say is Thank God for these wonderful people.
I am a Low income Torontian who always Relied on this Food bank for several years now. It's the only place that treats everyone walk of life with Dignity. Not to mention Super healthy and Nutritious meals! The staff and Volunteers are super nice. I personally like Nick and Louie they are so kind not only in nature, but they really go Above and beyond to make the people welcome, who come to grab Breakfast or Lunch. I have nothing but good stuff to say about the Stop. Much Love to you people. <3 I Hope you all thrive many years to come! Again My Gratitude for all the meals I recieved and going to receive in the future. Thanks again making a difference for someone who have been struggling with mental health diagnosis and greatly rely on the Stop Awesome
The most amazing all in one community hub in the area. This is a non judgement all welcome atmosphere where people from the area can come and have a hot meal, get help with food assistance or seek guidance from one of the many helpful staff that are trying to do whatever they can to remedy a situation. This center is based primarily on kind hearted volunteers who give their all to make what could be a stressful situation a positive one while their visiting. So, whether anyone is in need of a hot meal, or an immediate shortage of food. This is the place. Yes, it is not massive, but it packs a strong foundation and offers programs that really do make a difference in someone’s everyday life. Check it out, research it online, or even volunteer a few days a week and make a difference in someone’s life.
Great service by personnel, although today was a one off packed day. Seeing lots of hungry people in Toronto left Rosbie troubled, the engine sped off early in misery. Another problem to solve. Looking for answers. Wonderful staff at the food bank adjacent this location.
