Kelly, Owen and the A1 Chimney team sweep the competition! I will be referring them and using them again in the future. After a small hiccup with scheduling an appointment to fix a flue tile, they reached out to me directly. They wanted to make it right, and did they ever. Even in horrible weather (literally today is a snow storm), they came out and came up with a solution. Explained everything to me and formulated a plan for the perfect fix when weather permits in the spring. As a real estate agent, I have dealt with a lot of house professionals and contractors. I can tell you most others would have not even tried to make it right or acknowledged something happened. These guys are top notch, they made it right and do the job right. No chimney smoke and mirrors from these guys, just top quality work! Highly recommend!
Every year for the past 10 years I have my chimney cleaned and inspected by A1. They do a fantastic job, clean up after. Very friendly personel and will tell you if anything extra needs to be done.
Just had the chimney swept after...well, way too long. The company was excellent to deal with, on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. I appreciated that they did not try to upsell me on anything and only gave me the information I needed and an honest assessment of when I will need their services again. In a world where contractors are constantly lying to pad their services, this company was a breath of fresh air! Highly recommend, and will be making them my regular fireplace and chimney crew.

We just recently moved into a new home with a fireplace in the basement that we had not yet opened. Not knowing the state of the fireplace we simply asked A-1 for an inspection and cleaning. Our Technician, Zack, arrived exactly on time and started working. He found nests and multiple birds that had seemingly been there for a while. Zack was very professional and got to work right away. I expected the bill to be high based on the new scope of work (with animal removal) but it was very reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend A-1 as I don't see myself working with anyone else in the future and I will certainly be recommending them to others I know. Zack is the man, I'm sorry his first appointment of the day resulted in dead birds in his face but he was a champ!
Great admin staff with respect to setting up an appointment that worked my schedule. The technician arrived within the convenient 2-hour appointment window and was polite and pleasant. He was able to teach me a few things I hadn't known about my fireplace and chimney, and did the job quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. Payment was a breeze with credit card, and all was said and done within about 45 minutes. At less than $200, I am very satisfied with A-1's service and will use them the next time. I'm happy, based on my personal experience, to recommend them without hesitation. ??
They came on time, did their job and was clean. I took a star off for not inspecting the chimney which was part of the job description. Nothing much more to say. For those who want to save $100 you can order the brushes from Amazon and do it your self, which I will do next time, it's so simple.
