Simply the best. You would think he’s a back dr! But in essence, my back and upper traps, as well as neck issues all stem from the chest to the hips and everything in between. Dr. Ken explains why he does what he does, and how best to remedy the fix. I visit him at Push Pound University Ave, Toronto ?

Dr. Amr was exceptional in his diagnosis, advice and treatment of my ailing back. He took the time to ask me questions and assist me in my recovery process. He provided valuable advice, insights and information in regards to the issue at hand and was very genuine in his interaction with me. He actually cared about my pain and frustration and empathized with me and my condition. He took the time to listen and answer all my questions professionally, politely and openly. I would highly recommend Dr. Amer to anyone seeking help with pain and treatment issues. Great Doctor ? Thank you Dr. Amr! P.S. The receptionist team were also all very good/friendly led by Melody. Thank you Melody

Life changing concussion recovery TLDR - Working with Dr. Ken over the last year has allowed me to recover 95% from a severe concussion (tons of symptoms) that I dealt with for 1.5 years before seeing him. Dr. Ken used a combination of manual therapy, vestibular rehab and lifestyle changes to make a significant improvement in my overall symptoms over the course of 6 months after I had previously worked with over 10 other practitioners with no success. Backstory – I suffered a pretty bad concussion in March 2018 after big fall during a night of drinking. My symptoms started soon after with general slowness and brain fog. After a trip to the Caribbean in June 2018 I started developing vertigo like symptoms that persisted all day everyday. It felt like my eyes were constantly shaking and I completely lost the ability to hold a steady gaze. I felt like I was drunk all the time and I was slightly dizzy at all points throughout the day. As my brain tried to compensate for this, I began to develop other symptoms including a noticeable sway and very bad neck pain. I saw MD's who thought it was all in my head (anxiety, depression, even MS), ND's who thought it was gut related (strict diets that made things worse), and other DCs/PTs that were able to identify my issues were concussion/vestibular related, but were unable to provide meaningful relief. Enter Dr. Ken. I found Dr. Ken via his exceptional reviews on rate MD and google. Initially I was hoping that he could make some improvements to my neck pain which had gotten so bad it was hard to sleep. I saw Dr. Ken for the first time at the end of July 2019. We discussed my symptoms and he immediately noticed a nystagmus in both of my eyes that I was aware of, but that no one else was able to treat successfully. On my first visit he performed a modified Epley maneuver that he hoped would help some of my dizziness. I’ll admit that I was skeptical at first, other therapists had tried similar techniques but with little success. What Dr. Ken did was different. In hindsight, I suspect that because his version of the move was a much longer hold than others, it gave my ear more time to settle. From the moment I walked out of his office after that visit, I noticed a significant improvement in my dizziness. It was the first time a treatment had made a noticeable difference! I was literally in tears on my walk home just out of sheer joy and gratitude. Over the next 6 months I saw Dr Ken twice a week and then gradually moved to once a week as I made more and more progress. During each session, Dr Ken gave me manual treatment to alleviate my neck discomfort and also gave me progressively more challenging vestibular exercises to do at home in between visits. My progress was slow and steady but I continued to see greater improvements each month. Once Dr Ken fixed the initial issue in my ear I was slowly able to unwind my other symptoms. After 1 month with Dr. Ken – I returned to work full time After 2 months – I drove for the first time in a year After 3 months – I played basketball for the first time a year (albeit cautiously) After 6 months – I was 80-90% recovered Dr Ken also gave me helpful advice re. my diet, sleeping patterns, exercise and supplements that all played in a vital role in my recovery To Dr Ken – thank you so much for everything. You literally saved me by giving me a chance to live a normal life again. You have always been professional, punctual, and genuinely concerned with providing me with the best treatment possible for my specific needs. Best of all, your treatments actually work! The words in this review cannot express that gratitude I have regarding what you have done for me. It has been an absolute pleasure and I look forward to working with you again. To other’s struggling with a concussion- Do not give up hope! You are your biggest advocate and must take your recovery into your own hands by educating yourself as much as possible and continuing to seek out treatment until something sticks. Working with Dr Ken is an excellent place to start! You can do this!

Dr. Ken is probably the most knowledgeable, professional and dedicated health professional I met in a long time. His knowledge of various techniques (Acupuncture, Active Release Therapy, chiropractic adjustments) helps him address my hip/hamstring/nerve/back issues better than anyone else I dealt with in the past. He treats me as if I was his only client and doesn't mind going over the 20-minute appointment whenever possible. I am still one of his clients and I have seen improvements after every visit. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Ken since my regular chiro went on maternity leave and now I want to stay with him! I've been seeing a chiro off and on since I was in a car accident in 1989 and Dr. Ken is among the best I've visited. I have a particular adjustment that I require regularly -- historically, my body has always tightened up and fought the adjustment requiring the chiro to attempt to adjust me multiple times and causing a lot of pain. But every time, Dr. Ken gets the adjustment on the first try - without fail! I think this is largely due to him carefully explaining things to me ahead of time and using active release techniques to get my muscles to relax before adjustments. But he also has a winning personality - great bedside manner! I've never felt rushed and I've seen steady improvement with my difficult case since I've been seeing him (and this after plateauing with a former chiro). I have and would recommend him to my friends - HIGHLY recommend him! Great downtown Toronto chiropractor.

Dr Ken is great. I have a herniated disc and he was the only Chiro who diagnosed it correctly and helped me work on it. He is very attentive and would send me excersizes to work on at home and would check on on me. He also took extra time to treat me during our sessions and explained to me what he was doing. I would highly recommend him! Moe

Thank you for your amazing feedback! I’m glad to hear your back, upper trap, and neck issues are improving. By addressing the root causes from the chest to the hips with chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Techniques (ART), and personalized rehab exercises, we can restore proper movement and lasting relief.
