$17 “ginger” lemonade was just lemon juice, added chunks of ginger that added no flavour and club soda. Insanely low effort, genuinely bad. Made me lose faith in humanity a bit.
Very small take out for Churros, Empanadas and other pastries this place has the perfect combination of Latin snacks. I was surprised when I discovered that they sell few flavours of empanadas as well. I got the chorizo one. Amazing also Churros are very good!
It’s my first time buying on this store. I ordered a chicken empanada, but there was barely any filling at all. The crust was overly dry and flaky, falling apart into greasy crumbs. What little filling there was looked dried out and unappetizing. Definitely not worth it—disappointing and poorly made.
Yesterday, I bought a Rosca de Reyes, but I was really disappointed because it wasn’t fluffy. It felt like it wasn’t freshly made and had been sitting out for days. I hope you can improve because in past years, I’ve bought Roscas de Reyes from you, and they were so much better. This time, though, it was nothing like a traditional Rosca de Reyes.
I placed an order online which wasn't ready the day/time I was supposed to pick it up. Owner had forgotten my order so I had to come again to the store the next day to pick it up. Once again, order was not ready so I had to come back later. It was a bit disappointing. No complaints on my order, food was really good but their customer service lacks of professionalism.
I used to buy churros here in 2018 like almost every week for months. I decided to stop by today since I havent eaten for so long. I only bought two for over $5, and thankfully, I didn't get more because the churros were burnt and crispy, like crackers. The woman working there argued with me and had difficulty communicating in English. She insisted that this was how they were supposed to be, but I think they were cooked at too high temperature, making them taste like crackers. When I went back to complain, she took my other uneaten churro, put it back in the SAME sugar container where to coat the churros, and gave me a new one, which was still burnt. I'm disappointed that this stand, which used to make authentic churros, can't even give proper customer service and now has staff who can’t even communicate and a lot of flies in the store. The churros are just pre-made and covered with a towel.
Panchos charged for an online catering order that they never fulfilled. I have attempted to call and email for follow-up but the business declines to respond. When I originally contacted the business about the order status, a person who picked up said I will call you back in an hour and then blocked my number. Disappointed with the lack of customer service and integrity from this business.
