Save yourself the time and money, it’s simply not worth it. I didn’t gain any new knowledge, and although some of the teachers were excellent, they were limited by a basic program that prevented them from sharing their full expertise.
ILAC has been a great choice for my time in Canada. The campus is modern, well-located in Toronto, and has a very welcoming atmosphere with people from all over the world. The classes are engaging, and the teachers bring a lot of real-world experience, often connecting lessons to the Canadian job market. I also really appreciated the events and activities outside the classroom, they’re a great way to meet people and grow personally and professionally. The coordinators and staff are also very helpful, they’re always available to support students with anything they need, from academic questions to settling into life in Canada.
I registered for Ilac Pathway Course in October 2024. However, my school registration was made incorrectly. The reason I started Ilac was to get a good English education for my university education. My university education was supposed to start in January 2025, but I will not be able to start my education due to the mistake Ilac made. In the face of this problem, I requested a refund, but the refund was not made. Because of Ilac, all my plans and budget for my university education were in vain. It is a school that I definitely do not recommend.
If you’re looking for quality education, don’t come here! The professors of this so call “College” are not even trained properly to teach the subjects they are assigned and they are so unprepared an unpaid, is no wonder why there’s such a huge turnover of teachers here. Most of the programs claim to have co-op which is also a lie as the only “jobs” this college will offer is a server or something similar, they have zero support for their students when it comes to help them find a career in canada, they claim that they will help you develop professionally which is a lie. Don’t waste your money here and instead find a proper university.
If you want to waste your time and money go here. The government really needs to stop these private institutions. Go to community Colleges. Don't waste your money the paper they give you toilet paper is worth more
The institution does not provide you with quality education. The teachers (not all, but the vast majority do) only stand and read some slides for 3 and a half hours in a row, which makes it monotonous and boring in the long term in the classes that I was in. The vast majority of classmates only go for the attendance to be able to stay even longer in Canada. I don't recommend it but move a little more and go to another college, preferably a public one.
Excellent experience for anyone who wants to study English in Canada or to take a college course. The school really cares about the student's experience, promoting events and parties for integration. The classes are dinamic and divided according to the level of English (both in the general english and in the college), which helps the learning and makes the students more comfortable in interacting in the class.
