Chef Karen provided us with an incredible cooking class! Her passion, skill, and patience made the experience unforgettable. I left feeling inspired, confident, and excited to try everything at home. We had a wonderful date night experience here! The space was so warm and cozy, the chefs were kind and helpful, focusing on technique and helping you learn. You basically get to do all the fun parts of cooking (cooking and eating), while the chefs pre-set up the stations, help you, they set the table, and wash/ clean up after. Will definitely be back for another workshop!
I asked Karen to host a bachelorette for a group of 12 in their kitchen, and the chefs were so accommodating customizing an East Asian theme menu for our bride-to-be. We all learned new skills and had a classy garden cocktail to enjoy our creations!
We had originally signed up for the rustic French bistro cooking class, but due to personal circumstance I couldn't make it at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised when Chef Karen offered to invite us back 2 weeks later to the Mediterranean Mystique class, what a gesture! That day I was also surprised to find myself in a small class size of 4 couples (including us) but we also had Chef Cal to help us. I had 2 recipes to prepare and learned couple of new techniques to cut parlsey, basil, and pomegranate. While we were enjoying our meals, we talked about our experience preparing it and Chef Karen shared her passion in cooking with us, there were a lot of laughter. I will come back again
My partner and I signed up for a couples cooking class with Karen last week. All the menu items that she had selected for us were delicious! overall excellent night out!!
Was fortunate to experience Karen's Six Degrees Underground supper club. So much fun! Dining with 8 other people at our table (there was approx 20 people in total), there truly is less than six degrees of separation amongst strangers. We kept trying to guess the next course, as we were given teasers before arriving. All the food was flavourful and Karen, and her team of Cal and Claire were equally delightful. Definitely worth scoring an invite, hope to do so again soon.
Fabulous evening. Excellent food, service, and company. We had a fantastic table of interesting and fun people. Each course was better than the last. Thanks again Karen for a memorable evening!
