Absolutely love "Mutts in the 6ix"! Sylvia is such an awesome small-business owner who truly gets how to build a fun, welcoming community for dogs and their humans! As a new dog owner, I couldn’t believe events like this even existed! My pup is usually on the shy side, but by our third event, she was coming out of her shell thanks to Bark Ranger Ryan (he literally got down on the floor to serve her a "Furry Paw-some" burger — talk about dedication!). I’ve also had the pleasure of being the yoga instructor for their Doga Events at Jimmy's Coffee Kensington Market, and wow, what an experience! Sylvia was so supportive and provided a lot of guidance as a new business. I’ve never laughed and smiled more while teaching yoga! The whole vibe of these events is just pure joy—connecting with my dog, meeting amazing people, and don’t even get me started on that dreamy backyard deck in the heart of downtown Toronto. Even on a rainy day, the indoor classes were just as cozy. Huge thank you for such an unforgettable doga series! Can’t wait to join future "Mutts in the 6ix" events as a participant! <3
Mutts in the 6ix are such a fun organization, bringing the community and their pups together. Their events are so well planned out, with all sorts of games and activities for the pups and their mamas and papas. There is always options for food and drinks at fun locations indoor and outdoor. Some of the events are themed, making them just that much more fun and other times, you feel like you’re just chilling on a patio in the sunshine like you would any other Sunday but with cute and fluffy four legged creatures running around having a time. They also have a run club that hits the pavement every Sunday. Such a great way to hang with friends or meet new ones! They also have waivers to ensure everyone’s (including the pups) safety. Would highly recommend joining the community these guys are building!
Great dog event! We've been to a number of events they've hosted and they improve each time. Bring all your dogs off leash and enjoy food and hanging out!
I’ve attended a few of the events and my pup and I had such a great time while there. It was also through Mutts in The 6ix that I met my current trainer which was a huge bonus to the event for me. Exchanging with other dog parents and engaging with professionals/artists in the pet industry in a single event is simply 10/10
I attended (with my dog, Rexy) many Mutts in The 6ix events which inspired me to become a vendor to display our RexyWear products at the event. Both myself and Rexy had a blast! It's a fun and dynamic environment. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The other vendors at the event were nice and supportive. Sylvia is AMAZING! All you see around the room is smiles. Happy humans and happy dogs. And to top it off, there are photographers at the event to capture every moment. Food, drinks, DOGS, activities, prizes, and vendors. It doesn't get any better! I will most definitely be attending the next Mutts in The 6ix event.
As a dog lover, I couldn't be more amazed with what Mutts in the 6ix offers. A space, truly, for us to create moments with our friends and fur babies. The venues are conveniently located downtown Toronto. The events are well organized and enjoyable. The dogs are happy. I'm happy. Love that we are all happy together! Thank you for making this happen!
Mutts in the 6ix has been such a positive contribution to Toronto, from a business perspective and from a community stand point. Businesses gain exposure and Communities receive joy from the safe and clean environments for both dogs and dog lovers. One of my greatest appreciations, is the thoughtfulness of the various activities for the dogs at the events. Check out the website and Instagram.
