After nearly three years of filling prescriptions here, I’ve experienced a consistent pattern of hostility and dismissiveness toward valid doctor-prescribed medication. Each visit feels like a battle, despite my prescriptions being legitimate and routinely filled. On multiple occasions, I was dispensed fewer pills than prescribed, something I only discovered by counting my medication myself. When I raised this, I was asked to return to collect the remainder, confirming the error, yet was still met with judgmental and hostile behaviour. Medication accuracy and respectful treatment are non-negotiable. Patients should not have to fight for care or audit their own prescriptions to be taken seriously.
I've been going to this Rexall for over 5 years, not just once or twice and while personnel has changed over time, some have been there the entire time - throughout, the friendliness and willingness to help has stood out in a very positive way. I have a choice in my local Pharmacies and see no reason at all to change from this one. Specifically wrt the Pharmacy, currently Tatyana and the manager (Pablo?) have been outstanding - both with their knowledge, friendliness and focus on the person in front of them. It is clear that they know that they are in the Health CARE profession. Deserving of all 5 stars.
This Rexall location has a pharmacist who is either incompetent or intellectually dishonest. After diagnosing me, he told me I needed a skin cream and assured me he would prescribe it. I have now returned four times, and each time, there’s a different excuse. The last time I went, he vaguely claimed that “the front sometimes gets things mixed up.” What does that even mean? Is the front of the store losing medications? He then took my number and promised to call me back—never happened. Every visit, they act like they’ve never seen me before, forcing me to repeat the entire situation. I do not like intellectually dishonest people, and I can tell when someone is pretending to be confused—making that “How is this possible?” face while never actually going to a computer or taking any steps to fix the issue. This isn’t even a busy pharmacy, so there’s no excuse for this level of disorganization. This store used to be reliable, but now they don’t even refill prescriptions automatically or send reminders. If you’re looking for overpriced candy, go ahead—but I wouldn’t trust this place with your important medications.
I like this location - very close to where I live. The pharmacist is very nice and professional. I don't know his name but he's the main pharmacist and is very kind and provides information about your drugs during pickup. Other than the pharmacy, this is a nice clean location with self checkout. They have items on sale which is nice. Otherwise, Rexall is usually more pricey than shoppers drug Mart. The reason I knocked off a star is because they're not open on weekends and they don't carry things like bananas which some shoppers does.
Very nice, fast and friendly staff ... Both the Pharmacist and the pharmacist assistant. Got my Covid19 6th shot and was in and out, with no hassle. Big store and TTC friendly. My new Pharmacy to get all my needs.
Three times now I’ve picked up a prescription that has been filled with the incorrect one, including today. They also never contact you to say when something is out of stock. Obviously I need this prescription because it’s important. If you don’t have it on hand please let customers know in a timely manner. Now I need find another location to replace this tomorrow because conveniently you’re also closed on the weekend and close at 6pm on the days you are open. It’s ridiculous - this will be the very last time I use this pharmacy.
Best Rexall I’ve ever been to, the store is always clean and stocked and has everything I’m looking for. I absolutely love the sale rack in the back of the store and the fact they sell David’s Tea. And on top of everything the Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I have ever been to, not only do they remember me by my name but they treat you with respect and like a human. You never have issues and everything is always on time. Best pharmacy in the City
