Sandra Hanna did not handle my divorce case with the knowledge or care I expected from a lawyer. Throughout the process, she consistently told me to accept whatever the opposing counsel proposed, without properly explaining my options or fighting for my best interests. I ended up having to draft the last two correspondence letters to my ex’s lawyer myself, where I managed to negotiate an advance of $100,000. This was a huge improvement over the original offer of $25,000 she was advising me to accept. When I switched to a different lawyer, they had to completely redo everything Sandra had done. They requested documents that Sandra never even asked for and fought for my benefits, including spousal support and an equal split of the marital home—even though the house was under my ex’s name. Sandra had repeatedly told me I wasn’t entitled to these things, but my new lawyer proved otherwise and secured what was fair for me. I strongly advise you to do your research and find a lawyer who will actually advocate for you. Avoid working with Sandra Hanna if you want a lawyer who will truly have your back and fight for what you’re entitled to.
