Peking duck dumplings are a must try. The crispy + chewy wrap and its saucy filling is out of this world. The turnip cake is spot on, using Chinese sausage made from scratch! Other highlights are rice net spring rolls and crispy soft shell crab. I no longer miss going out for dim sum ❤ Singapore vermicelli has authentic flavours. Enjoyed Ho Fun for the first time in over a decade.

The food was so delicious!! The server was very informative about the food, ingredients and cooking processes used. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone especially those with gluten intolerance and other dietary restrictions!

It took me two years to finally take the time to visit Riz and the wait was worth it! The woman working the floor as the Hostess, Server, Busser, Phone Receptionist, and Food Runner was fantastic; kind, helpful, and very patient. I bought both the Chicken, and Vegetable Gyoza, Spicy Peanut Dumplings, Crispy Beef, Su Mai, Ha Gow, the Chicken Spring Rolls, and the Vegetable Spring Rolls. Everything is amazing, exceptionally flavourful, and tastes like I remember Chinese food from before being diagnosed as a Celiac 18 years ago! I can’t wait to go again to try a lot more of the menu. I did my order as a take-out and the waitress/etc. explained how to reheat every single item I ordered and it all turned out surprisingly well. Thank you to everyone involved with making this restaurant happen.

A Life-Changing Culinary Experience for the Gluten-Free Diner For anyone with a gluten allergy or intolerance, the thought of enjoying authentic Chinese or other Asian cuisines is often a distant memory. The classic sauces and noodles that define so many dishes are almost always off-limits. So, imagine my absolute delight and relief when my husband discovered a certified 100% gluten-free Asian restaurant. This wasn't just a meal; it was a reunion with flavors and textures I haven't tasted in over 15 years. To make up for lost time, I went all-in, ordering seven different kinds of dumplings to share. We also tried the Dan Dan noodles and the Pork Char-Siu ramen, a dish I've never even had the pleasure of tasting before. The flavors and textures were nothing short of "amazeballs." My husband, who can eat anything he wants, confirmed that every dish tasted exactly like "the real thing," which is the ultimate endorsement for a dedicated gluten-free establishment. The experience was made even more special by our interaction with the chef and owner. He was incredibly friendly and genuine, taking the time to chat with us about his journey and even sharing a political opinion or two. He went above and beyond by bringing us a special dish to try, a gesture that truly showed how much he cares about his customers and their dining experience. This restaurant didn't just satisfy a craving; it made my heart and belly incredibly happy. Finding a place that understands and flawlessly executes a truly gluten-free menu is a rare gift, and I am so grateful for the attention to detail and passion that clearly goes into every dish. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone, whether they're gluten-free or not—the food is simply exceptional.

Standard Chinese American food. Nice atmosphere coupled with a fairly diverse menu. Great for lunch due to the speed of service. No complaints but don't go out of your way for this if you are craving chinese.

We drove in all the way from Guelph to give this place a try and were not disappointed. Food was delicious, hot and came quickly to our table. My friend whom has celiac disease hasn't been able to have Chinese food in years due to her condition, she was very happy to finally enjoy an Asian meal. We spoke briefly with the owner and let him know what a great job he and his staff are doing. We will definitely return.

I love bringing my mom here. She always misses eating dumplings and Asian food in general. It's really hard as a celiac to trust most restaurants and you can be fully confident you can eat here and everything is gluten free! It seems too good to be true when you first go there. Really great food!
