Wonderful location, plenty of variety, and the staff here are super helpful! Sonny was the best, helped me look at a few pairs of shoes and walked me through some beginner clubs which was extremely helpful since I practically know nothing at this point. Really looking forward to coming back and checking out their apparel since I saw a few deals on my way out of the store. I will be back for sure!
Unfortunately, my experience with Golf Time has been consistently disappointing. I cannot recommend this store based on the issues I've encountered. First, I purchased a golf set and bag began ripping while still under warranty. When I brought this to their attention, the staff refused to replace it, claiming it was "normal wear and tear." This explanation was unacceptable, as these bags are designed to last for years and the damage clearly fell within warranty coverage. Second, during a demo event on Sunday, we purchased a driver. The cashier mistakenly charged us $226 CAD for a golf bag instead. The next day, the manager called and asked me to return to the store to pay the difference, stating there would be a "slight price adjustment." That adjustment turned out to be an additional $280 CAD—on top of the $226 already paid. This was a significant overcharge, especially considering the current online price of the driver is $349 CAD. Ultimately, I returned the driver and received a full refund. However, the entire situation was poorly handled. The pricing error was the store’s fault, and they should have absorbed the cost rather than passing it on to the customer. I hope Golf Time improves its customer service and accountability. Until then, I would advise others to shop elsewhere.
booked a wedge fitting as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend and we ended up being helped by John, the sales manager, since Sophie was tied up with a busy day. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for better! John was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and worthwhile. What really stood out was how he walked us through the stats of my boyfriend’s shots and explained which wedges would actually work best for him. You could tell he genuinely cared about finding the right fit, not just making a sale. We even went to the driving range after the fitting so he could try out his new clubs — and wow, he’s already hitting way better and more accurately. Thanks John, you made the birthday surprise even better!
Had the opportunity to come in for a fitting with John, the master fitter. What an unbelievable experience. I had a gapping issue at the top of my bag and we spent 45mins exploring different options and getting the numbers we were looking for. We ended up solving two problems versus one. John was extremely thorough and can meet you at your level and experience. He took the time after to walk through the specs and potential alternatives. As a guy who had been fit before, I have to say this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Cost effective and extremely informative.
All staff were attentive. Allison and Acadia were both helpful with purchase and return. Hamza/Hamsa (not sure if I spelled his name right) provided exceptional customer service. He was very professional, helpful and patient. He did his absolute best to help me find what I was looking for. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find the TaylorMade SIM2 Driver 10.5 Regular (RH) I was looking for, but Hamza did recommend other locations that had stock for me. He also assisted with getting to try out a left handed driver so I can get a feel of the driver. Answered all the questions I had which helped me decide on which golf glove to get. I ended up leaving with a TaylorMade TP Flex (medium) glove and some TaylorMade (Red) Speedsoft golf balls that I’ve been searching forever for. Abbey at the front cash was great as well and helped with my returns and purchases. This location is about 7 minutes away from my home and has by far been the best one, I have been to so far. Thanks again to your staff, hope they get the recognition they deserve.
Something has happened to Google Maps.........I requested several time Golftown The Queensway Etobicoke Ont but everytime I was given Golftown in Kanata near Ottawa Ont............definitely a problem...........how do I fix this or Google Maps is useless
The staff are amazing and knowledgeable, I was going in to get a new hybrid, and they took the time with me to check my swing/ball speed to see where I'm at... really focus on what I needed rather than make a quick sale. All and all i was there for 2 hours lol and they made me try out 10 different clubs just to get 1. Would recommend just asking all the questions and will help you as best they can.
