I have been going to Sugarmoon for over six years now. I always see Sushmita. She has introduced me to several new services over the years. My favourite is the eyebrow tinting! Sugarmoon is a very welcoming and friendly environment, I can't recommend it enough.
My first time sugaring long time waxer, my friend suggested to try sugaring as it was more gentle on my, now, sensitive skin. Gayani was super friendly and personal. She made me feel so much at ease. Her technique was great and I was very much happy with the end result. If you’ve ever thought to try or looking for a new place to have your treatments done, I would definitely give this place a go ahead!
We had a wonderful experience with my daughter’s very first hair removal service, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care and professionalism we received. The sugaring expert Cricel was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also so kind, gentle, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Cricel took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure my daughter felt comfortable and informed, and created such a welcoming environment. Her expertise really showed in how smoothly everything went — the results were fantastic, and my daughter left feeling confident and cared for. Highly recommend for anyone, especially first-timers. We’ll definitely be going back!

STAY AWAY – I DEVELOPED FOLLICULITIS AFTER COMING HERE. I’ve been getting sugared for almost 10 years and was a loyal client at Sugarmoon for over a year, but my last couple of visits were awful and honestly traumatizing. In August of last year my regular aesthetician wasn’t available, so I got booked with someone new and it was clear she didn’t know what she was doing. I was in so much pain during my appointment, she kept going over the same area 6 to 8 times, didn’t follow the hair growth direction, and I ended up with painful bruises all over my labia and pubic area. I reported it to management, and they offered me a complimentary session, but I was so shaken up I didn’t go back for 10 months. I finally returned to use the free wax 3 weeks ago, I was hoping things would be different but 24 hours later, I broke out in painful pimples across my labia and bum cheeks—something that’s never happened to me in nearly a decade of sugaring. I panicked and went to a walk-in clinic the doctor told me it was folliculitis likely caused by bacteria introduced during the wax. I take good care of hygiene and there’s no other possible explanation. When I called to let Sugarmoon know, they wouldn’t even let me speak to a manager. I got transferred to someone “representing management” who basically shrugged and said, “I just really don’t know how that could’ve happened.” No apology, no concern, no accountability. Since then, things have gotten worse and I now have painful cysts ON MY LABIA from the infection, had to go on antibiotics, and ended up with a yeast infection as a result. All because of one unsanitary appointment. I’m sharing this because I would hate for anyone else to go through what I have. Sugaring is a sensitive service that requires skill and cleanliness. Unfortunately, Sugarmoon has failed on both. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Also to make matters worse, there was a ton of hair left behind, which is how I discovered the pimples because I was going to use a mirror to pluck everything myself. Now only 3 weeks after my appointment, my hair has fully grown back indicating most of the hairs were broken rather than pulled out. I can usually get away with 5-6 weeks between appointments because anything sooner would be pointless for me to go, because I’ve been getting sugared for so long and my hair doesn’t grow quickly. All around horrible place, just don’t go, not worth your money or the risk of infection.
I got my first ever wax here last month and the experience was lovely. Anastasiia made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job. I also appreciate the different kinds of care products they offer in the front desk area, there was a product I was gonna order online but it was there, it saved me the time and trouble of having to find it online and wait. I’m glad I have a place to not only get my waxes done, but find certain care products that I can’t find anywhere but online.
Cricel has given me the best sugaring experience by far. Her warmth and customer service is second to none. I usually have painful waxes but her techniques were so gentle and expertly done. She was great to talk to as well. I felt very taken care of. I left feeling great! Will definitely come back to see her.
