After having a horrible time at a different accommodation, I last minute booked this apart-hotel and I'm so glad I did. My last few days in Toronto were made so much better by this wonderful accommodation. I checked in my bag early and when I came back later in the day, it was waiting for me in my room. All of the staff were so lovely and welcoming with every interaction and so helpful when I needed anything. Would highly recommend staying here.
The team here are the best, Andy, Sonia and Gökan could not be more helpful and accommodating, top marks. Perfect location for getting around the centre, the Eaton Centre shops and also access to the PATH for those hot or rainy days. Access to Queen Street station is straight outside, with streetcars and buses a short walk away. Our stay was so good the first 2 weeks that we returned for another 2 at the end of the holiday.
★★★★★||Our stay at Yonge Suites was nothing short of exceptional! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our varying needs, offering unwavering support during a very difficult time. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. The facilities were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and provided the space for comfort and relaxation. We are incredibly grateful for the experience and will not hesitate to recommend Yonge Suites to others in the future.
I can’t rave enough about this place. There are so many positive things and the not so positive ones are very minor. It’s a very safe place. You have to have a key to enter from the street and another key to enter once you’re in the vestibule, and you need to have a key to operate the elevator. ||If somebody has stepped away from the front desk, there is a phone number to call. Take a picture in case you need it when you’re out and about and maybe your key stops working. ||The man checking in was quite personable, as was everyone that I encountered. ||The apartment itself is modern and clean, very clean. I was a little disappointed although I do understand that there were not some basic seasonings or oils, as one might find in a home rental venue. But the kitchen is very well equipped with all kinds of utensils, pots, pans, a microwave, a small dishwasher, even a blender. There is a coffee machine and they provide coffee and cream.||They provide one use detergent and two dryer sheets. The washing machine and dryer were easy to figure out. ||Other than the staff, the next best thing I found was the user-friendly, the small touches of things they provided. Things like bathroom scales, and there’s limited space in the bathroom so there was a standing shelf. In the closet, there is a standing fan in case you need extra air. The elevators are always on the first floor when you arrive. ||There is Netflix, Cineplex, Google play, a landline telephone, DVD player, music. ||I love the Japanese toilet with the remote control that gives you different options! I also love how lights come on by motion sensor and you can turn them off on your own or on depending on what you’re in the mood for.||The location is good, if you turn right when you exit the hotel and walk three minutes then you reach an area of tremendous number of shops and restaurants, maybe some bars, this is where you pick up the city sightseeing bus ,etc. There is a Circle K next door and a subway entrance in front.||I had two issues while staying here, one I laugh at now. The first was when I arrived it was warm in the room and I wanted to turn on the air-conditioner but they had turned it off because it’s cold outside. They brought up an extra fan so I would have one in the Living Room and one in the bedroom. I quickly realised I didn’t need it! ||The second issue was 100% beyond their control, but they took it on as if it were their own, texting frequently to be sure that I was satisfied. ||I really cannot recommend this place highly enough! The only negative thing, and there’s nothing they can do about it is the set up for the shower. There are two full baths. One has a shower that is the size of a two top table. Very very small which would not be a problem except they have only a rain head shower so unless you want to get your hair wet you have to turn the water off and even then you’re gonna get your hair wet||Alternatively, the other bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination. The problem with that is the sliding glass door opens from the right side and the faucet is on the left side. So it’s impossible to reach to get the hot water going from being out of the tub area. ||Would I stay here again? Absolutely!
Rita told me there are bed bugs and cockroaches in some of their bedrooms, It is kind of a very congested apartment building, a very congested lobby with extremely over-bright light fixtures. Good for students or travellers who like cheap places to rent, like drug dealers. Not a family place.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 5 nights. It exceeded expectations. Service was excellent - they created a WhatsApp group with us even before we checked in to ease the process and made asking any queries very easy. Amenities were of very good quality too - shampoo and soap were Crabtree & Evelyn, and there was a welcome pack with a bottle of sparkling water. Location is right across Eaton centre - the other side of the road is a huge Sephora sign. Just outside the main door is stairs leading directly to the TTC metro. Extremely convenient. Will book again if returning to Toronto.
We recently stayed at Yonge Suites for 2 weeks and were so pleased with everything! Our suite was very bright, clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The staff were wonderful, Andreas was kind and helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend!
