Celebrated my husband’s birthday. The staff was great and attentive. We had tasty finger food and drinks. There was a huge selection of songs for karaoke. Highly recommend!
We have had 2 private parties at this venue and had a great time on both occassions. Here are my thoughts on food, service and atmo: The food is amazing!! Price is reasonable, the portions are generous and the taste is great! Go for the noodles and meat dishes (General Tao, etc.) with an order of fried rice if you need it. Singapore vermicelli is a must! We had private events, so your service might experience might vary, but we had a great experience! First time we visited, there were 2 bartenders who also served the food we ordered, second time there was only one (Oct 31, Jays playoff game night). I must say that on the second visit, Abi really did a great job. He was on the bar and also serving food throughout the evening. On top of that, when I asked him for one drink for the end of the night, he made me one of the best Old Fashioned cocktails I've had in a while. He took the time to prep the glass, properly mix and serve the drink. Are you in a hurry? Order a rum and coke. Want to enjoy your drink, ask for the Old Fahioned and say you have time to wait. Drink prices are very reasonable to boot! The Manhatten was also a hit, and I know everyone enjoyed their cocktails that night! The atmosphere is a fun vibe with total control given to the crowd. You pick the songs, set the volume and have at it. There's a drum set for the brave to wail away on and the bartender will even throw on some some smoke effects for the big songs, really adding to the party vibe. If you are a serious karaoke singer, the sing-along vibe for many songs may not be what you are looking for, but if you looking for a fun sing-along night with good food and drinks, check this place out, it's definitely worth it. If you want to have a private party, give them a call, they did a great job matching our needs for timing and group size.
Recently booked Tenjin Karaoke bar for a 60th surprise birthday party and I cannot say enough great things about this place!!! Terrific atmosphere- Loved the lights And it just had a really nice vibe!! Music choices were great -sound quality fantastic!! I loved dealing with Kevin- He was so easy-going and accommodating!! His staff did a great job the night of the event and the food was absolutely spectacular!!! Perfectly laid out for us ‘buffet style ‘ and everything stayed warm and was delicious!! I am beyond delighted that I booked this for our karaoke party and will definitely be back and highly recommend !!
Had SUCH a lovely bday celebration here! The service was amazing and the food was sooo yummy. Pretty good song selection and the auto-play on the karaoke machine was great for when we were feeling indecisive about song choices :) I have also came on nights when the main area isn't booked and it's always such a blast and the servers are incredibly sweet.
I came here with some friends for my birthday and it was a total blast. We were supposed to do a private room but ended up hanging out in the main lounge area and I even hopped on the drum kit a few times!
Attended a friends birthday here and I am happy to have found this place. Great spot for karaoke, they got a lot of selections from classic oldies to new banger hits, even other songs in other languages! We were in a private room so we had a lot of seating and our own bartender so service was always good. The food was decent for the price- mainly went for the atmosphere made for the vibes of karaoke and socializing with friends. Id recommend this place if you wanted to host a karaoke night or party with pals.
Great karaoke experience for open mic karaoke, always fun with parties, and a bit of a rarity in Toronto at the moment. The drink prices are fairly reasonable, which makes it an easy call for a regular karaoke spot!
