Sorry, it took me a while to re-write this review. I had to make sure the information I post in relation to this firm is Public Knowledge and that I can legally release other information. Cassels Brock & Blackwell took the liberty to discredit me publicly and within their business relations, while conducting presentations for their lawyers. Since the information they posted was false and they refused to provide the name of the source who provided that information, or even bother to have the dignity or moral capacity to contact me at all. I am afforded the right to defend myself, and provide a more accurate account of events.Perhaps this is the moral overview of exactly who they really are in their own twisted interpretation of their responsibility to assist disadvantaged and marginalized people, by providing false documentation to further the efforts of organizations, its members and stakeholders who were committing indecencies against the people of Ontario. In essence, these entities were stealing hundreds of millions from the unsuspecting public, while others were benefiting through an assistance initiative that protected the offenders that were brutalizing and victimizing the public, through a complete lack of transparency by the organization that was supposed to be protecting the public. After all, it was that same organization that created the policies and guidelines that allowed the systematic victimization of the poor ,the weak , the disabled, and many other identifiable groups that were unable to improve their lives - through education or improvement to health outcomes and community development, because society and organizations like Cassels Brock & Blackwell want to ensure that their contributions make a a meaningful difference. I don't share in the unwelcome views of this organization and in my mind , as a member of the various groups mentioned above, I find what they did to be very disgraceful. All the information mentioned above was provided as evidence against several organizations. Perhaps the Ministry failed to give it to Cassels Brock & Blackwell because they envisioned a community where the lower portions of society are unable to make a meaningful contribution to the progression of Humanity. That's my opinion and what do I know.
I can honestly this is an excellent law firm and they were very good to deal with.
I advise no one should work in the finance department - its an awful place to work . Remember you have been forewarned so that you have no regrets if you happen to join this awful department.Evil comes in different forms and you will find it in the accounting / finance department at Cassels.
Can't say anything about the whole firm, but if you're dealing with A. La Licata don't expect any kind of good customer service. Still waiting for a breakdown of services, almost a month later. She does not return phone calls or emails unless you contact her several times. Very rude when you do actually manage to get a hold of her. Would never use this firm. When I'm paying ridiculous amounts of money for a few phone calls and emails...I'll take my money to someone with actual people skills. Someone who understands the importance of quality customer service.
Absolutely gorgeous view from the main reception.
