This place is gigantic! The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is always something going on in the library. I was there for a book sale and they were giving away 3 books for a loonie. There library has a lot of computers and huge reading spaces spread across many floors. There is a cafe inside as well and the library houses some rare collections too. If you are a book person this place is a must visit as it is a book lovers heaven
This library is MASSIVE! Theres even a koi pond in the lobby- yes this library has a lobby. The study rooms are clean and spacious. Although, the whiteboard in the room didnt have any markers for me to write with. All in all, amazing space to really focus and study!
what a great library its.Its like 5 stories library, with plenty areas to study in group or individually.There is glass study rooms on every floor i guess.
The Toronto Reference Library has a wonderful distribution of space. There are a lot of different working areas to choose from. The lower levels tend to be crowded if you prefer to work or study in tranquility go to the upper levels of the building. Also, there are study pods if you want to work with another person for about 2 hours in complete privacy. You can reserve the pods with a week of anticipation.
Stellar Customer Service. Wonderful, quietly inspiring architecture. The rare collection is awe inspiring, and the Cheif LadyBird & Aura exhibit at the TD gallery was grounding, thoughtful and a brilliant contemporary collection.
