The facial I had at Aionios is phenomenal! Everytime I leave the place I’m fully pampered and taken care of. The staff are extremely friendly and I can say this is the best spa in the town :)

This place was such a disappointment. I went there for their $97 Hydrafacial promotion. First of all, I always see the time they begin. When I called they said it was 60 min facial. However, this facial ended around 45-50 min mark. I checked the time. I was also told on the phone extractions would occur, never did. When I looked at their instagram, for hydrafacials, they use something called “vortex” or suctioning machine. They didn’t use it on me. Honestly, it felt very fast. Furthermore! They didn’t even put sunscreen after. All spas I’ve been to, do that! They said “our brands don’t make sunscreen”. Then at the end I found that they were trying to sell me their 12 month package for like $1,500… *READ THE OTHER REVIEWS TOO* I honestly saw no difference in my skin but lady kept insisting there was a big difference. Also, on their promo ads on instagram it clearly said “Hydrafacial is for $97!! (reg. $420.00)” or $480 I don’t rmr. The lady told me regular is $240, which probably slipped out by accident. I went to them BECAUSE I thought it was actually $420. This is NOT okay at all. Other reviews are right! Lots of hard selling and is a potential scam. I’m upset I lost the money to this. But we learn. I think anything to do with skin health and beauty should be done with integrity and genuine care. I didn’t feel that here. Save your money. You do not deserve to be duped, like me.
Overall okay service - pretty much broke out after getting the hydra facial treatment. One thing that i found extremely distasteful is the ‘Sales pitch’ of trying to sell other packages on the spot! It’s fine to inform customers of ongoing deals but as someone who constantly gets a facial done regularly, I could not wrap my head around why the lady (manager) kept try to sell packages on the spot & when i declined her face demeanour changed! That was a huge turn off!
Ok, so I totally bought into the instagram offer of a hydrafacial.. I have to admit the front staff was nice but I have some second thoughts about if the machine was even an authentic hydrafacial machine. Everything seems Ok - I’ve had my fair share of medical grade facials. Upon heading downstairs to start I noticed that the room was a little bleak and not as clinical clean as I like for a medi-spa. The front desk attendant told me she would “check in” to assist in a hand treatment, cool. She mentioned how much my facial would normally be but that I have a special deal, also cool. Why I wanted to try it. Here’s where things got weird, I am mid facial, just finished the LED portion and the same front desk attendant returns and tries to sell me $1800 dollars worth of facials, while I’m still laying flat and from the top up not decent. Overall it felt really strange. I got dressed and upon leaving I was asked again about the “deal” she was offering.. I told her that I would need to think about it and the bubbly personality immediately dissipated…. Probably will not return. Noticed a few blemishes appear which also concerns me.
GOT A SERIOUS REACTION THAT RUINED MY FACE! I had a facial at this place 2 days ago and woke up with a red itchy face the next day. I called in about it and they said they will call me back a few hours later. but now it’s been more than 24 hours they still haven’t called me back, and I called in again 10 times during different time but they are not picking up. I suspect they’ve been dodging my calls on purpose. They were super unprofessional when performing the facial. They gave me a blanket with stains on it, until I asked the lady to change it. The lady did not tell me any products she was using on my face and at the end left a layer of very thick sticky greasy feeling product on my face for me to leave with. WORST MANAGEMENT AND SCHEMATIC PLACE EVER. Their machines are SUPER outdated, their Hydrafacial is not the authentic Hydrafacial Md, a lot of cheapass machines and not even close to a “med spa” they claim themselves to be ———————————————————————— Update to the above review: they’ve called me shortly after I left the review above, apologized and agreed to my request of a refund. I have a feeling that I wouldn’t be receiving a call from them if I did not leave the above review, given I’ve called them more than 10 times at different time since yesterday and nobody picked up nor called me back. I will never return to this place because they truly have no streamlined services nor service control nor the courtesy to invest in actual up to date machines to perform the facials. Their price points are non transparent either, they discount their facials packages from thousands to hundreds to work through your hesitancy to purchase more. No true value at all. With the same price point there are way more spas that offer way better services and products. Overall very below average experience and will never return nor recommend to anybody
I was advertised a discounted facial on instagram and made an appointment. The admin was very friendly and welcoming. Their system was down so she had to ask me the questions to the waiver verbally and was writing my answers on a yellow notepad by hand. She asked me questions about whether I had any concerns about my skin. I explained to her some issues I was having. I was walked down to a room where the lights were dimmed which was pleasant and relaxing. The admin offered to upgrade my facial free of charge (in consideration of my issues), adding micro dermabrasion to the tx. My aesthetician, Zara was friendly although I was a little taken aback at the fact that the person who asked me all these questions about my skin was not also the aesthetician?? It was my first time getting a facial so I am unsure how common this is? Did she hand the yellow notepad paper to the aesthetician or? Another unexpected turn was that the aesthetician explained maybe 20% of the things she was doing and stuff she was putting on my face. As a "Med" spa I thought she would be well versed on their skincare products and have explained everything she was putting on my face. She layered 3 or 4 serums or creams on my face at some point but I had no clue what was going on. Were all those even necessary or effective?? She did give me a really pleasant neck massage. The admin came in a few times during the appointment to "check up" with me which I found a little weird. It broke the flow of the treatment and was absolutely unnecessary. Something that left a sour note was when I was still on the chair close to the end of the appointment, the admin checked up on me one last time, complimenting my face and glow and being very nice. Immediately after, she started to sell me a their micro dermabrasion package of 6 treatments for $3000!! While I was still laying horizontallyyy in the chair trying to relax during the last bit of the appointment. It was a little aggressive even if I understand this is her job or she was asked to do this by her bosses, I simply wanted to state it was a negative experience. And she kept repeating that she had offered it for free to me which I appreciated but not if you were going to make me feel guilty about it after? The worst was when she was waiting for me to answer yes or no to buying the package!!!? I had to tell her I'd like to think about it for a second...if you could simply at least let me sit up or stand and get back to real life. At the cash, a red flag was when she kept lowering the price everytime I showed some hesitancy. The package went from $3000 to $1000. Then after adding 2 lotions for free, worth $250??? I can't really trust a company up-selling a service/product that much. I'm simply not the right clientele, as are probably all the clients you are acquiring through a majorrrrrrr discount for your services ? Overall, it was a fine experience but just felt like the aestheticians themselves don't know the products theyre using, and furthermore their name says 'Med Spa' so I was expecting something where the 'Med' knowledge was at the fore front of the service.
