A hidden gem in Toronto! My favourite Indian restaurant by far. The food is truly exceptional, and every dish feels carefully and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell the chefs put real effort into creating flavour combinations that are both harmonious and memorable, blending spices and textures in a way that feels intentional and beautifully balanced. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. I would absolutely go back. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish!
I had the Paneer Johriwala and it was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Paired with the buttery, soft naan (which I highly recommend everyone try at least once), the meal was a true treat. The combination was comforting, satisfying, and left a lasting impression. A must-try for place for everyone
Usually, naan tends to get stiff after 5–7 minutes, but I must say this naan stayed super soft and delicious the entire time we were eating! We also tried the Peacock and imlee cocktails OMG, what can I even say? They were insanely tasty! And as always, Bhattiwali Broccoli is my go-to dish this was my third time having it! I think Kadak is officially my go-to spot now totally worth it for the food and the warm hospitality & atmosphere ✨ food was really “kadak” ( the best )
I got the butter chicken with garlic naan and chicken biryani. Everything was incredible. The raita served the biryani was unlike I've ever had; it was super refreshing and had a bit of a fruity kick to it which I loved. The biryani could probably use a bit more spicy/hot kick but it was good nonetheless. Fast service and the host was very nice. Overall, recommended!
We visited Kadak for one of our friend’s birthday dinner. I kidd you not the food wasss amazinggggg!!! We ordered the following - Harissa chicken, chimichuri paneer, garlic naan, Dumphukt biryani, Lamb curry and Wild mushroom korma. Navi was very attentative and polite and made suggestions with regarfs to the best dishes we could have. Totally worth visiting this place.
i always tsk myself when I pay 28$ for 5 pieces of shrimp but boy was it delicious You also can’t go wrong with that truffle naan cozy environment and kind staff
There’s no denying the elegance of this upscale Indian restaurant — the ambiance is warm and refined, the plating is artful, and the spices sing in well-executed harmony. But be prepared to wait. Service, though polite, moves at a glacial pace, and what eventually arrives—though tasty—is more amuse-bouche than entrée. Portions are, frankly, theatrical in their restraint. You'll leave knowing what fenugreek tastes like, but not what satiety feels like. And if you’re watching your carbs, best of luck. The staff seemed puzzled by even the mention. Their idea of a “sugar-free” rice pudding was… puzzling. Let’s just say that some things shouldn’t be tampered with, and this reinterpretation was an affront to both dessert and dietary discretion. In short: come for the flavors, stay for the décor, but swing by a taco truck on the way home.
