This place has one of the biggest collections of movies I've ever seen. There's a helpful "New Releases" section at the front, but the real fun is in scouring thousands of films in the store's cavernous depths. They have lots to rent and buy, as well as rotating free titles. The staff is super friendly and excited to talk about movies in any capacity. Also, the dot matrix printer, lamination machine, and plethora of old tube TVs and monitors is a refreshingly un-hipster use of retro technology. Think "small-town Video 99 in the late 90s" with a way more expansive collection.
Their staff was very helpful and professional. They also have a great Department within the store where they can check out your stereo gear for nothing and make recommendations if you need a repair excetera but they do it for free. They did it for me on my turntable got it working and made recommendations for a cartridge upgrade. They're one of the few stores left in the city of Toronto that will be there in years to come because it's been there for over 50 years and it's run by a family member
This is one of the very best video stores in Toronto. Huge selection and will special order films for you. Great prices that for some titles rival even the big box stores.
Incredible selection, and helpful staff. Prices are quite low. Hope they keep expanding international TV selection, as this market is rally poorly served by streaming services.
