Cute local cinema with roomy old-school theatres and a collection of classic movie posters inside. Highly recommed if you want a more low key movie experience. One adult can get a movie ticket, popcorn and a drink for just over $20. Can't beat that! Right by Jane subway station.
This incredible landmark theatre has been a part of my life since I was a teen. The sound is good, the theatres small but quaint. No Scene cards or points but a reasonable cost and great ambiance.
This place reminds me of small town theatres I've seen in shows/movies set in the suburbs! The pros: less crowded, cheaper tickets and snacks, and support for independent cinemas. The only reason I would not see a movie here is if the movie was known to be better in 3D.
Greatest community movie theatre of all time. Not a rep cinema - all first run, change frequently. No nonsense "3D" gimmicks. Fair pricing; and they do a $7 Tuesday. Green P right behind. Wish they would separate the ticket sales line up from the concessions, but never takes too long to work through it.
I LOVE this theater. It doesn't have the swanky tech that most box theaters like Cineplex has and it might look a little dinky to some people but it's on of my favourite places to see a new film. And it's also nice to support a small business!
