I did not use Ash's services but I still want to give this review as he was completely transparent with all the details of what is needed to fix my guitar. He explained all the steps and broke down the pricing clearly. I think that in itself deserves some appreciation

I've been coming to Ash for a long time and really appreciate his honest work. I brought my guitar for a regular string change, polish etc, however I asked if it was possible to bring the action down a bit at the same time. I tried to lower the bridge myself and it wouldn't budge, and he checked the relief which was ok. I wasn't expecting him to dig into it deeper, but he discovered that there was a hidden crack where the neck is bolted on, and the screws weren't set probably from the factory setup. He fixed it and now the action is perfect. I really appreciate him taking the extra time to explore the issue, and he didn't charge me extra for it either which is very kind. Thank you!

Ash does incredible work at a fair price. He provides expertise and guidance that I have found to be very valuable. Ash has addressed the many issues that previous guitar technicians at various shops around Toronto have missed and created over the years. No more waiting a month for repairs. I always return to Ash for all things guitar.

Very experienced and knowledgable repairman who does excellent work for reasonable rates. If you want to build a rapport with a guitar tech and not just leave your instrument at a big box store for weeks on end (and get a mediocre job done), then check out Ash Guitar Repairs!

Ash is a fantastic tech. I had him look after a prized possession, my grandfather's 335. Before it made its way to becoming mine, it had been improperly stored and all the electronics were corroded and the wood was all dried up. It was in need of some proper care. Ash took care of all of that. Fixed some fret issues, gave it a great setup, and replaced all the wiring, gave it some new pots along with a new switch and a new jacks. He brought it back to life and I couldn't be happier with the care and service he provided. A great tech, and an honest guy. If you're looking for someone to take care of your gear, Ash is the guy

My go to guitar tech guy when I was living in Toronto. Very satisfied with his services. Besides fixing the issue, he returned my guitars squeaky clean, shiny and nicely conditioned. As soon as I held them, I noticed his diligence and attention to detail in handling the same. Moreover, Ash is very accommodating, personable and honest. He was patient with all of my questions and requests. He also throwed in some tips every now and then on guitars and guitar maintenance. Finally, his rates are reasonable - - and may be the lowest in the GTA area, if not in the whole of Ontario or Canada. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended!!! First off, kudos to you for practicing social distancing and keeping your customers safe! Ash is a great guy; friendly, honest, knows his stuffs inside out and charges a fair price for his services. I recently bought my first electric guitar at a garage sale. I knew it would need some "tough love" and I reached out to Ash. He responded right away and said he could take a look and would let me know what could be done. Right off the bat, he told me that the gear was a knock-off (cheap Chinese made guitar) and it would not be worth doing extensive work since the costs would far outweigh what I paid for. He gave me a bunch of different options and we agreed on a tune up/set-up, new strings and changing the tuning pegs (which were already damaged). During the whole time, he kept me posted of the progress and estimated delivery. He also kept to his original quote. I got my guitar today and it plays so much better than before! I am very pleased with the services and the added value provided. It is truly wonderful to deal with people that show passion in what they do. Stay safe and all the best!
