I’m very disappointed. I paid $60 for dipping, and there were barely any colors available. I also didn’t want to use the UV light, which was an issue. Maria was gentle, and I appreciate that, but my problem is that even though I was referred to this salon and my nails looked good at first, one nail chipped — which makes no sense. I spoke with another nail salon (not yours) and explained that I didn’t use the UV light and that my dipping powder chipped on one nail. They told me this is not normal and that the issue is with Carnation Nails. I regret paying in cash instead of using a credit card, because I could have disputed the charge. Now I can’t get a refund. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. Charging for cuticle cutting during a dipping service makes no sense. Another issue is your referral policy. If a client refers someone, you say you won’t charge for dipping removal, but if they don’t refer someone, you charge $20 — even after they already paid $60. That’s unprofessional, unethical, and feels unfair. I even tipped you. This comes across as greedy, and the experience was very disappointing.
I have been going to this salon for years but I have to say the quality if service dropped. Always different staff. The last couple of times I was quite disappointed ?. Have to drop this salon unfortunately.
I’ve gone here in the past and had a great experience, but one of the employees who helped me today cut my toenails way too short and the big toes were extremely mismatched (I had to ask her to trim one so they were the same size). The gel also had a bumpy and uneven finish :( Another lady did my gel extensions and the sides are not fully painted, cuticles left basically untouched, nails are tilting up instead of laying flat, and lots of glue surrounding the nail and underneath - very disappointed with my visit. It’s extremely cheap but you get what you pay for (two stars given for affordability)
best experience i've ever had at a nail salon - the ladies were so sweet and gentle. my shellac manicure is so smooth and even, its lasted so long with no signs of breakage:)
Went in today to get a birthday manicure-pedi and what an amazing experience it was. The lady doing my nails did such a wonderful job and was incredibly professional and friendly. Even remembered it was my birthday when I left and wished me well. A great experience
Love Carnation. A few weeks ago Jenny did an amazing shellac manicure. Came back tonight to see Dan. Another amazing job! Very friendly, clean and welcoming environment. Love you guys!!?
Staff is very friendly. Went in with my daughter who is 11 and got charged adult price. Both pedi/mani done in 30 minutes. Very rushed. Knicked 2 of my cuticles which bled. Won’t go back. Nice enough people though.
