I wish there were more bricks and mortar locations to help rescue food and make it affordable. People really need an alternative to conventional shopping. This place helps in ways that are beyond what can be seen on the surface. I’ve only had positive experiences here and appreciate what they have to offer.
Super friendly staff!! And I saw them offer some food to a very tired looking UPS driver too, this shows how sweet and caring the people who work here are.

I have been stopping by this storefront pwyc grocery store since it was launched at its original Dundas/Runnymede location. The new locale has developed beautifully, and their service, bounty and giving to those in the neighborhood who can use a break keeps on growing. Last month I was stuck w.out cash for two weeks waiting for a long anticipated paycheque — i am so grateful to these folks, who agreed to give me s bit if leeway on payment without a second’s hesitation. These cats are the real deal — great place to shop, a great charity to support.
Not a bad place. It would be better if there was another location in the east end of Toronto and not just in the west end since I talk the ttc and I dont want to have to spend 1.5 to 2 hours each way just to get there
The staff here are always lovely and willing to help out. I suggest bringing a couple of tote bags with you for the food that you end up picking up. They also accept bunz currency as form of payment if you don't have cash to donate. Such a lovely cause and such wonderful food that you're helping to not go to waste! Absolutely love this place as an addition to the neighborhood
I was at a meeting on the environment last night at Swansea town hall and Feed it Forward had some information about your organization. I am so impressed with your response to the outrageous waste of food in our city. Wish your example could transfer around the world. Thank you for your efforts I saw a program on CBC's program Marketplace about the terrible wastage with best before dates and I was appalled but you have done something about it. Bravo. I will definitely be around to have coffee or buy something for a normal price. Do you need volunteers? Sincerely Arlene Rogers
