They really take care of me! I am doing a lot of my wedding shopping here for guests // friends. I wish they carried smaller sizes for women, but other than that they have an incredible selection, especially for menswear.
Run away, don’t walk. I wish I saw the reviews before entering this place last night. The one star is only for the variety available at this place. But the rest of it is pretty scammy. No prices were listed on any item, the owner didn’t explain the pricing while billing, the bill itself didn’t have any break down of what costed how much and if you’re a trusting individual, you’d feel cheated which high chances is true. We bought basic pooja items (paan, supari, meter long cloth et al). For a total of 8 items, we paid a whopping $104. I have gone to other shops in Scarborough, bought far more and paid far less. When our own fellow countrymen create such bad faith practices especially for sacred occasions, you really wonder how low can we go as people. To the owners- Do better.Grow a conscious or atleast business ethics and transparency. To buyers- beware, check prices and question everything. Go to Pooja store in Scarborough.
Hi all, I went there to buy mehendi cone,diya and stencil for karvachauth and I was looted by the service lady. There are no price tags written on the items and she quoted huge prices for the cone, stencil and diya. She charged $8 for the stenxils for both hands, first she had said $4 dollars then while billing she said the stencil doesn't come in set of 2 so it is $4 each! Then comes the mehendi cone,she charged $4 for it whereas when I checked at Navs supermarker at harbourdront they were selling for $2. Then the diya was also overpriced at $4. I have had such a dissappointing experience here. I will never go there as I was looted by atleast $10. I want a refund or something to compensate for the cheating done. They should not cheat people from their own country. The google ratings are so poor, they will not survive like this in Toronto.

The shop appeared well-stocked and seemed trustworthy at first glance. However, after asking for specific items, I noticed several red flags. The prices quoted were inconsistent and far higher than standard market rates, with no proper labeling or bills provided. They just makeup prices then and there. I overheard them doing it. When I questioned this, the staff became dismissive and avoided giving clear answers. It felt like I was being taken advantage of, especially since I came in good faith looking for genuine religious materials. There was no transparency in pricing or sourcing, and the overall experience felt very misleading. I do not recommend this shop to anyone looking for authentic or fairly priced pooja supplies. Be cautious. They are not really customer friendly, they’re more money friendly. Will go to any extent for money. Not for many days can they stay and do what they’re doing. There is God and he’ll take care of it. In the name of god, the way they treat you is very disturbing.
Absolute garbage customer service. Everyone at the shop was extremely rude. When I asked if there are other options available I was met with harsh behaviour and what I was trying on was yanked away from me!!! If I could give zero stars even that would be too much. Ridiculous! 100/10 would NOT RECOMMEND.
