Worker deliberately embarrassed me by yelling loudly and calling me impatient all because they didn’t have enough staff and I kindly asked if she could assist me with a quick ask at the print shop. My task was a simple pickup that takes 2 minutes or less. Multiple people were at the print shop with massive projects. She could have simply said no and moved on. Instead she chose to embarrass me for whatever reason.
Today, I am very satisfied with Noel&Prathap, the employees of STAPLES CANADA at the address "1000 Gerrard Street East, unit Dd16". The employees are very helpful. When I went in at 10:00 this morning, it took 2 hours to help me solve the problem, very patient and persistent, and tried my best to help me solve the problem! Everyone needs him if they need anything.
My fiancé went here after the gym to buy a binder and some dividers and as he entered the store, the alarm went off. An older woman stopped him and insisted on searching his gym bag. She asked him some questions and he declined the request from her to have his bag searched. Apparently a man entered ahead of him and when he set the alarm off, he was not asked to have his belongings searched. As a worker in the retail industry, I'm appalled that they even asked to search his bag given the circumstances. Are they even allowed to do this?
Ordered pictures before noon for same day pick-up. Went to pick them up and pictures won't be ready until 5pm. I asked to cancel the order, i have to cancel only and come to store again for a refund. Not impressed.
Never seen this Staples crowded. It is clean and large. Staff are difficult to find for help like in all Staples I have ever been in. It is hard to know who is working in what department.
Purchased a wireless phone charger called Powerology Qi 15W/10W/7.5W Vegan Leather Wireless Charger. Bought this four months ago. The first two months was excellent. I would place my phone on the device and the red light would turn blue showing that charging was occuring. The last two months has been intermittent, needing me to place my phone on the device a few times before it connected for charging. Sometimes I would find that the charging didn't occur. What's worse is that Staples wouldn't cover the one year warranty. Returns are 30 days. Beyond this, if I didn't purchase extended warranty, I would need to contact the manufacturer. Staples gave me the wrong # for the Teqtronix International. I found their number online but no one answers the phone. Their website was flagged as not secure. Staples then gave me their email address. Who knows whether they will reply. The Staples website shows a one year warranty, not Teqtronix. The consumer shouldn't have to chase the manufacturer for something Staples offered to sell. Bottom line.
By my experience it's much better than going to best buy because you can get a price match and most of these guys know what they're talking about! Cuz they always have some weird thing on super special
