Please read before booking surgery with Dr. Maleki. *Repost after Dr Maleki had my review removed* In February 2025, I had a fat transfer to my under-eyes and a skin pinch procedure with Dr. Maleki. I had previously had fillers with decent results, but mild, recurring swelling led me to seek a more permanent solution. After a consultation, I understood a fat transfer wouldn’t be a 100% fix and I moved forward with realistic expectations. Within five days post-op after the swelling went down, it was clear something was wrong. My under-eyes were still hollow, with noticeable asymmetry—an indent under on one eye and a swollen, overfilled look under the other. I was embarrassed for months after my surgery to go out like this however I was trusting the process and I was trusting Dr Maleki at the time. I brought up my concerns multiple times with Dr. Maleki and his team. Despite my concerns, I was continually told everything looked fine and that there had been “improvement.” I’d like to also add the night before my surgery Dr Maleki was drinking alcohol which he posted on social media. Having a surgeon performing surgery so close to the eye with alcohol in his system is very concerning. At my four-month follow up, I expressed that I was unhappy with the results and asked about corrective options. Rather than listening, Dr. Maleki was defensive, claimed no mistakes were made, and quoted me $5,000 for a second fat transfer—on top of the $15,000 I had already paid. When I told him my concerns with the price given how my results look, his exact words to me were, “I don’t care that you paid 15k,” and “I don’t do surgeries for free.” I was shocked at how quickly the conversation turned dismissive. I wasn’t asking for a free procedure—only a reasonable correction based on what was clearly not the outcome we had discussed. When I brought up my concerns in February to his nurse, I was told me that it would be a small fee to correct the issue. Even more baffling, he suggested adding filler to correct the issue, despite knowing filler complications were the reason I sought surgery in the first place. The lack of accountability, compassion, and professionalism was astounding. For months after my surgery I had people asking me what happened to my under eyes. I was counting down the days for this appointment to finally get a solution. I left that appointment feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed—not only in the results, but in how I was treated. His nurse called me back the day after to offer a discount on the surgery. At this point, even if he offered the surgery for free I would never go back into that clinic. Considering the disrespect and the lack of attention to what I was trying to explain to him, I wouldn’t expect him to know how to fix what he did to my under eyes. Bottom line: my experience with Dr. Maleki was distressing, both physically and emotionally. The photos and my story speak for themselves. Please do your research, and don’t be fooled by curated social media results. This was my real experience.

Dr.Maleki has taken years off my appearance. Before my surgery all I noticed were dark hollows under my eyes. After a lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer, my under eye hollows are gone. I look younger and refreshed. My only regret is not doing the surgery sooner!

I can’t thank Dr Maleki and his team enough ! My experience was amazing. Dr Maleki was extremely thorough with his explanations and set very realistic expectations from the get go. The team was all very supportive and answered all my questions. Thank you all for helping me get my confidence back .

I had under eye surgery and Halo laser treatment with Dr. Babak Maleki, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, he has been nothing short of amazing. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way, and showed such genuine care throughout the process. The results have exceeded my expectations, and the level of professionalism, skill, and compassion he provides is truly outstanding. I felt confident and supported the whole time, and I would highly recommend Dr. Babak to anyone considering cosmetic procedures. He is an exceptional doctor who really goes above and beyond for his patients.

They worst experience of my life. My nightmare started 6 days after my upper blepharoplasty, suffering from severe dry eyes and neuropathic pain. Immediately after the surgery Babak Maleki's nurse Angela advised me that he removed too much skin, my heart just dropped. I'm now on a leave of absence from my 31 career with no future return date. Not only did I pay him 7k he insulated myself and my husband insisting that neuropathic pain is not physical but a personal circumstances in my life. My life has been changed forever, I'm now under the care of a REAL ophthalmologist at TWH who's taken me under his care both phyically and emotionally. He told me that my pain and dry eyes was a result of the surgery and that my pain is real physical pain. Now I know why my gut was pulling me to Dr. Derek Ford, listen to your gut, please don't make my mistake, it will cost you. NOTE BABAK MALEKI HAS ONLY BEING PERFORMING FAT GRAFTING, TRANSFER SINCE JAN 2024, HE LEARNED THE TECHNIQUE IN CALIFORNIA BY DR. KAMI PARSA IN DEC 2023. PRIOR TO THIS, HE ONLY PERFORMED FILLERS. A PICTURE WITH KAMI PARSA WAS POSTED ON HIS INSTAGRAM PAGE AND THEN CONVENIENTLY REMOVED. HE'S BEEN GASLIGHTING HIS PATIENTS, HE'S NOT AN AUTHENTIC OR TRUSTWORTHY MEDICAL DOCTOR.,NOT ONE MICROCURRENT OF EMPATHY OR COMPASSION. WOMEN, SPECIFICALLY YOUNG WOMEN NEED TO STOP BEING LURED BY INSTAGRAM AND ADVERTISING, REMEMBER EXCELLENT DOCTORS DON'T POST, WORD OF MOUTH PROVIDES THEM WITH MORE THEN ENOUGH BUSINESS. HE DOES NOT WALK WITH HONESTY OR INTEGRITY AND ONCE YOU LINE HIS POCKETS YOU'LL BE ABANDONED. NOTE-DR. LISA JAGAN A YOUNG VERY HONEST OPHTHALMOLOGIST WORKING IN MALEKI'S OFFICE CONFIRMED THAT "GOING BACK TO BASELINE" IS PART OF THE 'SALES SPEECH," AND THAT DRY EYES MAY NOT EVER RESOLVE AFTER BLETHLOPLASTY.

Dr Malecki is very knowledgeable, caring and skilled at what he does. Best experience in city for eye care and any related procedures Don’t hesitate if you’re on the fence. You won’t regret. Excellent bedside manner as well !

Dr. Maleki was great to work with. He was very thorough and informative when explaining the procedure. Any questions or concerns were answered in all professional and friendly manner.
