Came to EC Orthotics back in 2012, and got orthotics - based on weightless scans - that I'm still using, they're that good and that durable. Now they use even more advanced scanning techniques to ensure the orthotics fit correctly and do their job (prevent foot and overall body pain). Tried a different place a few years back, based on recommendations from colleagues. (I don't take advantage of my benefits every year). The place used foam foot beds to take "custom impressions", mashing my feet into them (compressing my arch), and then wondered (duh) why the orthotics didn't fit properly??! Needless to say the orthotics from this other place were bad and because the material was so cheap, they didn't last. EC Orthotics is the place for me. Wincy, the receptionist, accommodated me in so many ways, with appointments, predetermination forms for items I've never submitted to my insurance before (all ended up being covered), holding shoes for me until insurance approved them... all with efficiency and very pleasant service. From Bridgette, the Chiropodist, I learned things about my gait, and insights on the resulting impacts on my overall health (knees, back, hips, etc.) that were bang on, as well as what to look for in shoes. Very Good Quality Products and Service.
I would avoid this clinic if you can. I purchased a couple pairs of compression stockings as a gift. I did so after confirming with the employee at the front desk I could return the product if it wasn't opened / still in packaging. About a week later I called to confirm that I’d be coming in to return them as they weren’t the right specifications I needed. This is where the interaction got weird… The employee on the phone said it was fine for me to come anytime during business hours. Then about an hour or so later I got a call from a different employee saying they were sorry about the previous employee’s advice but I couldn’t return them. I then spoke to the manager (owner) about this but they instead offered store credit towards treatments or other products. But I wouldn’t have bought the compression stockings in the first place if I wasn’t told I could return them. It felt very much like a bait and switch. I know there’s a few insurance providers that don’t cover expenses from EC Orthotics / TO Orthotics (Sunlife for example). Maybe it’s due to business practices such as this. Id recommend going to one of the many other orthotic specialists in the area.
We have been with EC Orthotics for over 15 years . Eddie is very accommodating, helpful and considerate in all our footwear services. His expertise caters to our needs. I have also consulted about my bunion. He recommended to use a Hallux Aligner Kit which is very helpful for my bunion relief of pain and discomfort when walking. The orthotic shoes were also a great help for our gait and balance assistance in walking. We greatly need mobility and ambulation aid especially after our MVA. My husband and I go to this clinic consistently. Excellent service and Very well Recommended to All !!!
Dr Eddie Chan was wonderful . He sorted two major issues I developed with my foot (started during Covid) . His staff was wonderful . Highly recommend EC Orthotics . AB

Dr. Eddie is great they saw my 2 year old daughter straight away even though we had no appointment, but my daughter has large toenail issues and I needed her to be seen. They were happy to squeeze us in and he gave me so much information on how to take care of her toe. Great advice thank you!
The Chinese girl at the front desk is rude and have no sense for customer service. The chiropodist did not do a good assessment, ended up paying for orthotics that give me pain. They did not acknowledge the warranty for the orthotics as the customer pick up was delayed. Customer service is very poor.
