I would avoid getting an appointment with Dr Solow. I told him beforehand that I will have a reflex and I will move upon being poked, and when that happened lo and behold, he can't proceed any longer and gave me the number of a chiropractor? Like what? Total waste of time
In Praise of Healing Hands and Human Hearts For Dr. Pezhman Mehrabian and the compassionate team at The Pain Clinic In the long and turbulent story of humanity, there have always been healers who treated more than just the body—those rare souls who understood that suffering is not confined to the nerves, bones, or blood vessels, but also resides deep in memories, in exile, in silence, in the unseen wounds of the heart. Dr. Pezhman Mehrabian, at The Pain Clinic, is without question one of these rare individuals. He is not only a specialist in pain management, but—at least for my wife and me—a kind of physician-philosopher, someone who walks beside us not only as a medical expert, but as a fellow human being. His eyes are calm, his words unhurried, and his presence never rushed. He reminds me of the great Persian polymath Avicenna (Ibn Sina)—a healer of both body and soul—who wrote in The Canon of Medicine that: “Medicine is a service to the soul, not merely to the flesh.” Dr. Mehrabian treats all his patients—regardless of race, age, gender, or origin—with the same deep respect, dignity, and care. In a world where the medical system can often feel cold and mechanical, he brings warmth, depth, and humanity into every consultation. He listens—not just to symptoms, but to stories. He diagnoses—not just pain, but the person behind the pain. Beside him stands his deeply kind and wise assistant, Ms. Maryam—a woman of quiet strength, gentle presence, and unwavering devotion. Her kindness is not performative—it is real, steady, and deeply healing in itself. She treats us not like numbers on a schedule, but like people who matter. And at the heart of the clinic’s front line, there is Ms. Amanda, the receptionist whose grace, intelligence, and compassion shine in every phone call and email reply. No message goes unanswered, no concern unheard. Her professional kindness reminds us that even in brief exchanges, humanity can still prevail. Together, they form a rare constellation in today’s overburdened healthcare world: a doctor who sees beyond prescriptions, a team that responds with heart, a space that honors pain not as a weakness, but as a shared human experience. From the heart of a weary exile, a scarred writer, and a human still learning to endure… I thank you— not only for easing our pain, but for reminding me that I am still seen, still heard, and still… undeniably human.
Received an injection and was told to come back if there was any pain. Pain has been steadily getting worse, to the point where it is much worse than before the injection. Called the clinic and was told the earliest I could get in was in 3 weeks.
Thank you so much for the amazing service in this clinic. I came with severe pain after injection I felt better. I encouraged everyone who is in pain to go right away to the pain clinic
I see dr Rozen had some good reviews. But he was super rude to my 47 yr old son. My son has ,S I joint issues an has been unable to SIT for a yr. So therefore is unable to drive. I little compassion would have been wonderful after the 4 hour ride to get there. He did want to ask doctor questions but was brushed off. It t just wasn't very professional I didn't have to be there He was able to describe the visit He was so discouraged. How ever if the injection works than all is well
Horrible experiences felt ignored completely by your staff. 5 times booking Canceled tree times on me and booked me with the wrong doctor twice. Will not be returning to your clinic, you are in the service medical industry bedside manner should be your first priority and your far from it. Fail
Wonderful experience Very helpful and kind Dr. Rozen and his staff helped me recover through my pain in a very short time Highly recommend Looking forward for my next treatments from them as well.
