It doesn't help when I live 10 minutes away from the store (my wallet especially). I love making a little visit to this shop every so often. The staff are always so helpful when I have questions and they always carry unique selections from Japan and Korea. The creaking floors and beautiful displays always make it such an inviting experience. I've found so many beautiful products that I've added into my journaling. If anyone is looking for a stationary shop to fulfill their obsession, I definitely recommend this shop!
Came into look at the Dolce Vita Stickers today, the younger sales associate sitting at the desk in the back was so friendly... she answered all my questions, even stupid ones about pet tape...sadly the older asian lady I believe was a manager was not so friendly... They did not have the Dolce Vita Stickers on the sales floor... instead they were in a bunch of plastic bins...Another associate brought them out on the table, where I could choose what I wanted. I didn't mind looking through everything and selecting items. Part of the joy of shopping is seeing and touching things in person. Sadly I was interrupted by the Asian Lady and I asked her if I was in her way... (Even they were the ones that put the bins on the table) she replied " while you already have everything out there, and then walked off" ... I whispered under my breath " so rude" ... I guess she heard me ... because when she came back 10 minutes later... she asked if I wanted a basket... I said " sure, and don't worry I will be buying all of these" to which she changed her tune and said " sorry , were understaffed today that's why I am being short with you" . News Flash! I am a customer not your employee! you should treat every customer with a smile and hello when they enter through your door!!! I ended up spending about $100 on dolce vita items which bring me so much joy and I definitely do not regret it... I will However remember how I was treated, will tell all of my colleagues about the rude behaviour and probably will no longer be shopping here anymore! Lesson of the day, Treat your customers with Respect and they will be loyal to you for a lifetime!
Clean place, friendly staff and they have my favourite pens in stock which is great! However I find this business quite inconvenient; No phone number to contact them directly, and they don’t accept cash payment.
Lovely store. Wish they had more variety (may have sold out). Majorly had Travellers company and Midori stuff. High quality no doubt. Only wish prices were clearly put up for all items. Had to keep asking the staff.
Staff are knowledgeable, super friendly, and quite inviting, the people are usually my reason to review! Good people always make me want to spread more goodness around❤️ Also, their shop has EVERYTHING you could possibly think of for all your stationary needs!!! I’m 100% going to sign up for their calligraphy course this fall. I absolutely LOVE this shop and I hope they expand to open more locations. Wishing this business the utmost success and prosperity❤️?
I wish I had more time to visit this store as I was in a rush today (had a pick up order), it’s such a lovely place!!! I love the attention to detail in my small package, it’s so cute it made my day? thank you can’t wait to come back :)
Absolutely phenomenal, I cannot recommend P+C enough. This store is obviously a labour of love run by individuals who care more about stationary products than I ever thought possible. My girlfriend and I popped in shortly after the store opened this past weekend, and we were met with friendly, expert advice from Rowena. The store is quirky without being kitsch, with an obviously well-curated selection that isn't over the top. Honestly, we had a great time. It's great to see independent businesses flourish, and I hope P+C sees many more years of success.
