I can’t thank John enough. I needed to do an author photo for a new novel that I had been working on for a few years. I never got myself professionally photographed and by sheer luck I googled photo studio as I was driving downtown and came across his place. He was accommodating for a last minute request, took his time with me and I left with amazing photos. To be true, never thought I could look that good in a photo. He really came through for me and the quality of his work is exceptional.

Love this place this is my second time using their services I needed a photo for my Greek passport they had the template already although I brought a copy of specs that were not needed. The requirements are very different from the Canadian one. Thank you.

I just got a photo for a UK Electronic Travel Authorization. The UK system is very finicky about the specs (and not clear at the start) so we needed to resize or crop a few times before the application was complete. John kept fixing the digital photo at no extra charge until it was approved.

Today I had a photoshoot for my LinkedIn profile picture with John. I appreciate that they accommodated my last-minute request on a Saturday night just before closing time, prioritizing customer satisfaction. While the final photos were decent, the experience left me uncomfortable. John was a little "too friendly" and crossed professional boundaries. He made several inappropriate comments, including discussing how he altered a celebrity’s images (making her breasts and butt larger) to highlight his Photoshop skills, other than that he asked if I had botox on my lips. He also suggested I unbutton the top button of my shirt to 'bring out my long neck,' which felt entirely out of place for a professional LinkedIn photo. He even directed me to give a ‘sexy look,’ which felt completely out of place for a professional LinkedIn photo—I wonder if he directs this pose to his male clients this way. Additionally, there were moments of physical contact, like tapping my arm, without any reason. While I liked the final images, I believe a photoshoot for a business profile should focus on professionalism, not personal or irrelevant comments. I would have appreciated a more respectful and professional approach.

Nicely located photography services with nice people, but they can be better and look at the customer well to correct their appearance before taking photos. Took a professional headshot photo there based on reviews only to notice my necklace was displaced on around my neck and looked skewed, making me look disheveled and disorganized. I like the photo for the retouch work but can’t use it. Waste of money, alas.

I came in to have a photo enlarged. The young lady at the front was very friendly and helpful. Even though it started to get quite busy around the time I was there, my photo was ready quickly and looked great.

I went there to take a passport photo and I'm very happy with the outcome! What a huge difference from past places I've been to, especially chain stores. This privately-owned hole-in-the-wall portrait studio uses high quality tools, materials and techniques, and puts care into their work. And it shows!
