I highly recomend Bloor Jane Physiotherapy and Active Rehabilitation Centre. The atmosphere is welcoming and the entrire staff is supportive. My experience with Physiotherapist Michael was superb. His approach is extremely knowledgeable, professional, personalized and exceptionally effective.
I went to this physio clinic yesterday, and the therapist who was supposed to be an expert in pelvic floor, didn't even introduce herself, didn't explain what and why she was doing certain things. I had to ask so many questions to understand what her thought process was, and even when providing a doctors note to consent physio treatment, the therapist was unsure of contraindications during pregnancy. This is your job to know what you can and cannot do during an assessment, but I can't even call it an assessment. I also had a leg injury which she completed ignored the fact that I could use that limb during my assessment time, which means her history taking was lacking and not detailed. I paid full price for half of a pelvic floor assessment, and proceeded to tell me to come 2x week for several weeks. I would not go back and would not recommend this place for pelvic floor physio. Very disappointed!
Just amazing service overall. Got injured at the gym and have been visiting Micheal and his team weekly. The healing has been swift and I cannot thank Bloor Jane Physio enough. Would recommend for anyone in the area, great rehabilitation centre.
I was in rough shape when I arrived for my initial assessment. I had injured my hamstring, calf and knee. Worse, I had ignored the problem, allowing the muscles to atrophy. When I showed up at Bloor Jane, I was using crutches to get around. I was nervous about the appointment and concerned about what I would have to go through in order to return to normal. The receptionist, Elizabeth, immediately put me at my ease. She introduced me to Michael Varghese, my physiotherapist, who examined me and put together a plan that would have me walking and running before I knew it. He was experienced, knowledgeable and good-humored. By the end of that first appointment, I had absolute confidence in him and in my prospects for a full recovery. I left that day literally with my crutches under my arm and never used them again. I am so grateful to Elizabeth and Michael and to all the folks at Bloor Jane for helping me get back on my feet again.
I tried several physiotherapist, acupuncture and chiropractic for my frozen shoulder. Michael was able to identified the issue and to solve it. I have come back for my son broken foot. Each time the treatment has been amazing
I am very happy with my physiotherapy treatment at this clinic. Excellent location. Michael is an excellent therapist, very profesional and patient. All the staff at the clinic are very friendly and caring. I highly recommend them.
Michel Varghese is the best therapist.!!! He is doing wonders with my arthritis in my hands. Also, is very knowledgeable how to apply different treating methods in sports injures. Michel is always attentive and gentle. I would highly recommend him if you have similar problems?
