North Vancouver courts are fantastic, the feel and vibe of the facility is amazing. Someone on opening day said "this is my Disneyland" and I totally agree. Our North Shore community has been growing and so spread out and this is brining us all back together in a very fun way.
I’ve visited many pickleball facilities, and what truly sets Cloverdale apart is its staff and welcoming community atmosphere. Ed and his team are incredibly friendly, greeting every guest and member with a smile. They’re always available to answer questions and actively seek feedback to continually enhance the experience. Their commitment to creating an inclusive environment ensures everyone feels comfortable and has a great time at Cloverdale. That’s exactly what keeps me coming back.
Cameron was super helpful at the front desk, helped us understand everything perfectly for our first visit and even though the wait-list for the Open Play was full, he was able to help us get our own booking and booked up an extra hour. Really looked out for us as we were disappointed to not be able to join Open Play, amazing service and really chill guy, oh and Go Jays!!!
I enjoy playing pickleball and Fairgrounds is a great place to play. Courts are nice and the staff are friendly. I give it 4 out of 5 stars only because the ceilings are low so you can't lob shots. It's a former department store so I understand the height of the ceiling is not their fault!
Always have a good time. The price went up for hour rental. Points off for the very rude man who runs classes there. I didn’t sign up for a class yet he took it upon himself to interrupt my game to tell me why someone yells “ball” (I already know why but I didn’t hear him when it happened) yet didn’t take the time to give the same lecture to other groups when it happened…also I was with males yet he decided to lecture the only female? Interesting.
Been having an amazing experience at Fairgrounds playing pickleball; especially learning from an experienced coach, Danielle. She is warm and welcoming to all, clear in her coaching and guidance, and fun to be around. I scheduled a private session, and my pickleball game immediately improved. Highly recommend this location and definitely this coach! She’s a gem!
Went there tonight for a special group event, had a blast! Such an amazing space!! Really well done!! The court surfaces are excellent! Look forward to going back!
